Also I like your idea of changing character since even within your dynasty you can get a better heir by maybe plotting until you gain the throne.Since 'Real strategy requires cunning'😂

Only half an hour in, so don't know if this gets explained later, but:
Why does it matter that your marriage is matrilineal? At this level, surely a child would be your heir either way, and given that you're going to character-hop anyway, the dynasty doesn't really matter right now.
Or am I missing something?

I know you’re doing random characters on death but it would’ve been pretty funny if you made a new religion of warrior women and just ran around the map spreading the culture and religion

RE: Game over if you have no heir as a wanderer - the game actually lets you pick a new character to continue as in this situation now. Usually your second becomes the new leader of the wandering company, and you can pick them if you want to keep playing as the same outfit (though your dynasty will change, of course.) Not sure how that interacts with achievements, or if it's the same in ironman (been playing around w/regular saves for now.)
RE: Travel options - unless you need protective measures, I've found that constantly keeping on the no-cost option to Scout for Talent is (slightly) helpful, since I find that I am usually strapped for commanders/champions. Also, until you have at least enough followers to fully populate the scheme bars, traveling for no good reason is a decent way to pick up free recruits from events (just keep an eye on your supplies.)
RE: Marriages - I have so far found that as a basic landless nobody you probably need something else in addition to the weak patron hook to make this work, such as a friendship, a strong hook, high prestige/piety, etc. Not sure if the situation would be better if you had claims or were in a claimant group.
RE: Best uses of hooks on patrons - IMO, the best use is to gain a men at arms company, if you've got an open slot. They'll give you a type randomly from those of their culture, so you can collect a motley assortment. For instance, I saw someone who (after much traveling) had elephants, Varangians, *and* caballeros. Luckily they don't consider mounts when refilling your MAA 🙂
RE: Success chance and advantage - the advantage appears to be a flat bonus added to your accumulated scheme success chance. I think the reason your maximum chance increased was because you added your new recruit to your assigned agents mid-scheme. Also, sometimes your agents will increase/decrease in ability mid-scheme, which can affect the max value of an in-flight scheme. There are also some random events that seem to affect the overall scheme success/phase time/secrecy directly.
