Well you need to understand it in context. The first part is basically saying that they will be there through everything, support him, guide him, and do everything for him. The second part is saying that he will be there forever. And even though he does everything for him, he is promising to take the punishment for him also. The song in its totallity has a completely different context.

I feel like a lyric breakdown would be better suited for after the song in order to not break the flow and build-up of the music (at least with non-rap), but that could just be me. Great reaction either way!

This song is about the evil inside. When you finally commit a crime. You pay. You want to do something bad... that's that little side of you talking to you. It can take you over. And that guy rationalizes it.
