Great video - makes me feel better about not upgrading to the zv e10 mii 😂 What are your thoughts about shooting/editing in 4k, and exporting/uploading in 1080?
Hey! If you don't need those extra features, yes, it's better to keep the MK-I I honestly don't do that. It will not make the image worse but why to do that? You will not see a big difference. If you just want to have a smaller resolution in the end it's ok, but today many people are watching on TVs, and many of them are 4k. I don't see the point in doing that. If you have a specific reason... that's ok.
I just ordered the Mark II. I’m so excited ! Mainly because of the touch screen and I like the shooting mode being a switch instead of a button. It will be harder to accidentally shoot in slow motion lol. I also like the SD card slot being on the side
I bought it last week for talking head video and I’m glad that I bought it second hand and paying less than half than the zv-e 10 II. Not worthy to pay more for the second version if used just for talking head videos. Great channel with amazing videos Cheers 👋🏻
I bought one to use it for Zoom calls to replace an average webcam. The kit lens serves its purpose! However I also have an a9 mk1 with GM lenses, but haven’t tried to compare the quality. One day I will try!
Hey. It's easy. 1. Do you use those extra features and want something new? Go with the MK-II 2 the price difference is not a problem for you? Go with MK-II. But if you don’t have the difference and don’t use those features… go with MK-I and buy a great lens. It depends on what you do :)
Glad you solved the problem :) Enjoy your new camera and if you need to check it because I have a lot of tutorials for it :) Let me know if you need help :)
Thank you, my friend :) You are 100% right. And many people buy something just because they see it everywhere and because they are beginners it’s hard not to believe that something is great just because every big TH-cam use that thing. Thank you :)
Hej Gabriel, great advice, very informative....ZV-E10 has been my main camera for a year now, never let me down, always great quality and I'm constantly using Green Screen...
Hey! I never used it. But it has a big crop on the image when you shoot 4k. And Canon when it comes to ISO and noise it's worst than Sony. It is cheaper but... if I had to choose I prefer to save a little bit more and go with Sony. If you like it, clearly you can shoot a talking head video with it. That's not a problem, but I always prefer to save a little bit more and go with something better.
@GabrielVIP I guess I'll stick with using my phone and save up for zv e10. I took a look at the r100 again and I think they cut too many corners to make it very affordable. Thanks for the advice 👍.
The best camera absolutely. I have three. Via HDMI is perfect. It can record locally in 4k and with Hyperdeck studio hd plus you can record in prores 4k hq. For studio is the best
Thanks for sharing. Wow, three :) That's nice. I plan to buy another one to have a permanent overhead rig mounted :D Thank you for sharing, my friend :)

People pay more for what is fashionable rather than what they need.
It is possible to produce quality work with low budgets.
Very good explanation 👍🏻

Glad you like it! Thank you :)
Thoughts on xm5
I never used it and I can’t say something relevant about it. Sorry!
What about a canon r100? Is it a good choice if all I want to do is make talking head videos? I see its cheaper than the zv e10.
