Just took delivery of my 2021 M340i a week ago. This thing is STUPID fast for a non-M 3 series. It's a fantastic machine.
I know I'm replying on an old comment but I was wondering how the M340i is treating you 10 months in, any problems? Thank you
@@mason9483 Fine for the most part. Apparently there was a coolant pump leak, but that got replaced under warranty at no charge. Beyond that, problem free. Nothing that has left me stranded.

Bmw is really great at charging for options that should be standard.
All the Germans do the same thing.
BMW is not a car you own but only lease for 4 years when warranty is done and then you let the poor sucker take this piece of shit car.

@@samsun01 I have a f30 328i with 120,000 miles, It has been perfectly reliable, more so than equivalent Mercedes and maybe Audi products. So before you go ranting about stuff you have no clue about, do five seconds of research and realize that you and you're little Corolla are very much wrong.

And I don't believe for one second that you haven't had issues outside standard maintenance.
MrCarGuy20 Before my car now I had a E70 X5 40d that I bought new and I had not even one problem for the 5-6 years and 250k kms that I had it for. But the land cruiser I had before the x5 had endless problems and it cost me a fortune to fix.
Finally someone who drives the car how it’s supposed to be driven. Many people that do reviews don’t drive it as a sport car. Found my new car review guy!
A lot of people are scared of the liability which is understandable. This is a press car but many others don’t receive press cars.

Had a blast behind the wheel of one of those yesterday. Never seen so much tech in a car before. Feels incredible, sounds amazing, the holographic cluster is jaw-dropping in sport manual mode, sharp and responsive. Fantastic drive with the dad showing up with his new toy yesterday. Best to be enjoyed at night. Trust me.

This man is an excellent driver. I very rarely say that.
I changed (on 27/01/21) my brilliant and completely reliable 2018 440i Coupe for a (U.K. spec) M340i in Tanzanite over black leather with Cerium Grey alloys, Adaptive Suspension, Comfort Plus, Technology, Visibility Packs plus sunroof next week (as I hate the grille of the new 4-Series and couldn’t contemplate getting one!). Even compared to the 440i, the M340i is a massive step up; more refined, handles and sounds even better and the interior is hugely more modern and better looking!

Hey, Do you think the adaptive suspension is worth the price tag? In the video, the car seemed to be quite bumpy even in the comfort drive mode. How comfortable was it compared to like BMW's flagship sedan, The 7 series suspension?

I had a G20 330i, it was a great car but I just missed the straight six sound and performance, so I bought a M340i worth the extra amazing.

The X3 M40i is heavier. R u sure it's the same performance? I would think the M340xi is slightly quicker since it's lighter.
8:49 good acceleration comparison with the Tesla Model 3
Model 3 feels much quicker cuz of the instant torque (and probably is tbh), and technically offers more bang for your buck, but there's just something about this BMW that you don't get in the Tesla... feels so much more satisfying to drive

Mine was 65k sans the adaptive cruise and adaptive suspension. That blue color is 2200 option. Portimao blue is much less and looks better.

Really good video review. After watching your reviews and driving the cars I'm leaning towards the CT5-V. I've owned cars from both manufacturers and both of them build great sedans. My top reasons are in my opinion the Cadi looks so much better, it has more room, rides and handles better and is a bit cheaper. Thanks for the review.

big mistake getting rid of tanzanite blue and dravit grey as options, those were the nicest colors
8:15 That's just not true. The G20 has the better interior tech and is able to have more individual options done to it. If you don't need the extra space then there's no reason not to get this at the same price.
Regarding the price, remember $70k dollars = $56,800 Euros.

Hmmm I would go a little lighter on the options. All that matters on a BMW anyway is the M Sport package.
The M sport package is mostly for looks, not for performance.

The problem with BMW's interior is that it has no storage space, because other vehicles would give a storage beneath the climate control and still offer the cup holders. However, BMWs only offer the cup holder as the storage space. So if you put some stuffs in the storage space, you won't have the place to put your drinks

You do realize this car has a lot of storage space, right? Including a storage space beneath the climate controls. And the truck is class-leading in size.
