I have an m340 and absolutely love it. A daily driver with that level of acceleration is unreal. In my opinion, the best BMW currently out there when you consider the price point and what you get.

Gapped an S4 the other day in my 340 😁 beautiful car and B58 is an excellent platform. Some people have crossed over 100k miles in theirs with no issues. Very reliable and responds well to tuning. Definitely an OWN car - it’s a beast. It took me 18 months struggling to decide between an S4 and a 340. They’re both good, I just found the 340 to be better.

Never ceases to amaze me the foothold that Audi has on the NA market. In Europe they're generally not considered on the same level as BMWs at all. Nice cars with nice interiors, but everyone knows they're mostly upjumped VWs with numb handling that just understeer all over the place.
@Randy Baker You say that until you actually buy one. I've owned 3 Audis including the older v8 S4 ,they're trash to work on but pretty decent interiors and performance. No match for bmw in terms of a driving experience in any way, shape or form though. Planning to move onto an M340i from a RWD 2014 M5 now. What price point are you talking about exactly? The S4 starting cost is higher than the M340i lol. The Audi has far worse quality interior. Did you even get in either of these? What a bum.

M340 owner here, and he was bang on with a lot of his comments while driving. I think he was only in Sport (not Sport+) on the first push, hence why he got so much more excited on the later pushes lol. It is the ultimate chameleon car... I can go Eco with the family and literally get 40mpg... or rip it into Sport+ and do

Realistically closer to 35 but at steady speeds and no sudden braking, def possible. Comparatively I get about 24-25 City driving eco pro in stop and go traffic for 2hr+ a day@@issacabraham1505
At a car wash last week an older gentlemen asked me if this was a 5 series, I told him it was a 3 series and he was surprised because generally the 3 series is smaller.
I have a 2019 330i and I got asked the same question a couple of times already.

Love how you get into super deep detail and get some great camera shots and angles. Garage is sick and love the aesthetic of the whole channel goes together extremely well. Lighting in the garage kinda makes it difficult to see well and some of the audio pauses seemed a little goofy. Just a few things I noticed, I can definitely see this channel blowing up fast!

Got mine 2 weeks ago! Can’t express in words how much I love it!!! Perfect 2020 *M* 3 version ( real M owners please don’t get pissed ) with comfort switch for daily commute with passengers, in case you don’t want them to hate you by driving on sport plus mode 😆.

@@NoName-md5zb Rear lights are dope, and the B58 isn’t breaking down. This inline 6 is extremely reliable and makes ridiculous power with little mods.
I just purchased a 2021 M340i and it’s hella fun. It takes no time to get up once you hit the pedal.

@@mate0107 haha, if you are implying that I'm too young with small body, I am proportionally build 176 cm tall. Let me ask you, have you driven this car? I have now almost every day for more than a year. There are some details that are overlooked. The car has other great values. There are pros and cons like with every car. That doesn't mean that we should not point out the shortcomings. Another really dumb decision is to put the USB port right in front of the wireless charging place. Also,the front 12 volt connection simply doesn't work for US applications unless u have it custom wired. Etc. Etc.

I just traded in my 18 month old 330e for one of these from 2019 with 14K on the clock and more spec (sun roof, electric seats, m sport diff & x-drive) I’m beyond stoked to pick this up next week!

I have a 2020 M340i XDrive - Tanzanite Blue with the Ivory white full merino leather interior. I've had the car since July 2020 and i can say without a doubt, it's the best car I've ever owned! Total sleeper car!

Past S5 Sportback owner and current M4 LCI owner, and after test driving the m340i here is my take:
- If you want a visceral, raw and most performance oriented drive, but you’re ok giving up daily comfort and can afford the higher maintenance costs , the M4 wins hands down
- If you want a very capable, quick, and comfortable sedan that you can drive daily but is devoid of any rawness, get the M340i
- if you want the same as above but even more comfort oriented, more practical because of the hatch but even more devoid of emotion get the S4/S5.
If I did it again I probably would have gotten the m340 over the S5 but would have been in the same predicament and jumped ship to a real M car anyways.

Drove the m2c and m340i. Both have pros and cons. Unfortunately m2c didnt work well for my use in roads and streets, its suspension and feel very uncomfortable in bumpy asphalt which are common in my area. The m2c can be a little more fun better gear box and lighter, but overall m340i suited my needs being comfort and sporty (remembering a little those muscle cars).
The new m cars will be more comfortable I think!!!
I don't need a car to be emotional. Emotional = trouble. I need it to be precise. My S4 fits the bill. With the APR tune, I get 34 MPG, too.

Great video mate I absolutely love the way the car looks I might buy one what's good about it that it's not too expensive and the performance is very good no need for a M3.
Picked up a 2021 m340 x drive last month to replace my 21 Acura tlx and I could not be more happy with my choice. Perfect daily driver for someone who wants more power and better driving dynamics for having a little fun in that daily commute but can also be thrown around on backroads on the weekends. Forget about the speed the biggest thing I notice is the handling and driving dynamics. BMW does those things best in this process range
BMW finally making exhausts that keep up with AMG standards. Drove them both. Ended up with a C43amg instead last week
Why the c43? And was that the coupe or sedan ? Very curios

It does all of those without issue. BMW's chassis tuning is near perfect.

I'm not a fan of the s4/s5. I test drove one twice but loved my S3 more! The s5 was way too soft in handling and braking.

I have a 2017 stage 2 s3 with a bunch of other mods and I am curious to see what my next car will be as well.
Unfortunately, there is not a 4 door AWD M2 that exists. I will probably end up getting this or the S4. I would love to hop in an electric car if possible as well.
C43 is too unreliable like the Alfa. G70 and Stinger are too underwhelming in terms of power and aftermarket potential. The only real beasts in the market are a tuned B9 S4 or this new M340 tuned.
I just wish they made a car as nimble as the S3, 4 doors, AWD, and decent aftermarket potential. Very few cars can emulate the feeling of driving an S3 (understeer aside, albeit mine is reduced due to all the mods I have done to it.)
I love the black kidney grill and trim around the grill mine is silver. Can I replace that to black and do you know how much will it cost?

Twin scroll turbo. Basically a turbo with two waste gates. So it essentially has a continuous flow of power versus a single scroll turbo where you get turbo lag. My 435i Msport pretty much has zero lag.

actually, the previous gen 335i uses the n55b30 engine, i guess u meant the 340i, which used the same engine the g20 (current gen) uses (b58)

I'm taking my 2022 to germany next week... it's just passed 1200 miles and it feels fkng amazing. (compared to the 218 grand tourer I got from the rental company 3 weeks ago).
I hear ya on the color of the instrument panel and cluster..I know its a personal preference thing, but one of the highlights of why I loved BMW's is that the old orangish/red lights really captured me. When they started putting in blue's, green's, etc..I lost interest..lol
Oh! and I'm glad they changed the shifter. I hate that previous shifter. In fact, wish they could have just updated the ones they had in the 80's. Love what they did with the audi shifters.

Yes wud love to see that comparison with the caveat that the CT5-V starts at only $48k (and the M340 at almost $60k) and so obv comes in at a lower 360hp but over 400lb feet of torque...
For analog speedometer fans, if you pick the Cockpit Plus instead of Pro its cheaper, has 1.5 inch smaller iDrive screen , but comes with ANALOG SPEEDOMETER!

Have a couple realtor friends there too, business is truly booming in the housing market there. These homes make great investments too. Can't wait!

These homes are incredible, the builders really stepped up and from what I heard with the friends I have already living there - many businesses are booming like plumbers, mechanics, kitchen suppliers etc. Lots of growth coming! I am almost certain that soon we will see the London market be the same as the market down here in the GTA. Nice to be moving there early haha.

@DC Williams Drove all 3 and found Audi had the highest quality interior and most comfortable. Though the M340 was definitely more fun to drive compared to the SUV, it wasnt going to be as comfortable for the regular 4 hour drives I do.

Like how you check the materials and headliner. You look for things that I check out when inspecting quality. You're right, BMW materials aren't as good as Audi and I have an e90 335i. Also S4s get better leather than the vernaska/Dakota leather. BMW really shafts you.

Ohhh so difficult, what a really good question.
The Audi feels less substantial and the front wheel bias really shows.
The 340 is more of a traditional sedan if that’s the requirements you need as the Audis trunk is tiny.
I like the Audi powertrain a little bit more as it’s more engaging. Less insulation, lighter.
The bmw flies though. So really hard call.
The bmw is a more user friendly daily.
@@ACCELER8TV Also, the Audi throttle lag sucks. They can't program the transmission correctly unlike BMW.
They lined up this with a merc c43 and a s4 and the M340i blew them both out of the water,totally left them in the dust from the line and at 50mph.
I’m considering the cla 45s instead of the m340i just based off looks.
But I’ve been a bmw fan boy for the longest time and I got a feeling I’ll end up just getting one of these later lol

Scotty Svensson i have a c43 my neighbour has the m340i... m340i is definitely the faster car by far but the c43 is much better sounding and id rather have a car that sounds better
@@scottysvensson If you know numbers then you should know that BMW under-represents their performance numbers. It's actually around the 405 mark if you do your actual research.
@@jiggerkandola9400 When I used to drive valet back in the day, I remember driving one and falling in love with the sound and interior of the C43 but after multiple exposures recently with the 2020 M340i, it really is the elite. With a downpipe, AWE exhaust and tune, you can have a 500 HP beast that screams on the road like an exotic.
Nice review. My 330e Touring is being delivered next month. All blacked M sport inside & outside. Should do 5,9 seconds to 60 with 200 hp petrol combined with 95 hp electric. Greetings from Belgium.

I would suggest to go to different dealers and tell them that you want to review their cars and in turn, you will promote their dealer or whatnot.
