It was WB fault. People was on board to see Batfleck solo movie, especially after he tease Deathstroke as the main villain. Ben want a full control since he was gonna direct that movie but WB keep interfere.

The Same vibe for both of them Andrew was a Spiderman fan and Henry was also a superman fan and they both acted damn good but the people who gifted them their dreams are also the same that destroyed them....
Well in Henry's case, it was Zack who give him the role but WB destroyed it. WB destroy Zack's vision first then proceed to fired Henry. Andrew is the one that got fuk up by Sony entirely alongside Disney after the licensing deal. But yea at least Andrew got his chance to shine back via NWH. Don't know about Henry...we don't know if WB gonna pull that Kingdom Come stuff or not. And even if they did, we also don't know if Henry will agree to do it since Henry might fed up with them at this point.
I genuinely think more Andrew Garfield Spider-Man more exciting than more instalments with mcu Spider-Man. Same thing with Henry Cavil’s Superman. They deserve better.
Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill were BOTH screwed over as Superman, but at least David Corenswet looks promising and Tyler Hoechlin is doing a nice job on the CW.
