I followed your instructions for my swagtron e bike. Trailer was hooked up to mountain bike I switched over to my ebike and you are awesome. Took only a couple mins. Thank you sir.
Thanks for this video. It would have took me forever to try and figure out a solution on my own. However, I have an Ariel Rider D Class eBike and I had to buy the #4 step drill bit to open the hole up to 9/16 (one size larger than 1/2). $50!!!! Also for anyone who needs to do this.. here's a hack-- buy from Home Depot, use it, and return it. Especially if you'll likely never need to use this bit again. They are VERY pricey and Home Depot can afford it. XD
After 6months, do you experience any issues on electric motor? Because of heavier loads on the battery and motor. What about affect on the range? Obviously it will be shortened the range but is it significantly noticeable lost?
No issues so far! I check it after each ride with the kids just to be sure. I have to tighten the axel bolt as it occasionally gets loose, but that happens even without the adapter on. Even on the gear side. I might try teflon soon to see if it helps.
Although probably not recommended, but as long there are more than 4 full turns on the nut which he has would do fine. If it where me I'd use to slim thin nuts to lock it in.

Just tested and it works! I don't know the safety issue after this 😂

Is it possible to just buy one that will fit?
If you ever found one, please let us know!
Thank you
Won't it stip the threads? Metal on metal.
Haven’t had an issue on my bike.
Have you seen any issues with your bike or the trailer adapter in the past 5 months since you did this?

Can I pay for the drilled coupler? I can send it to your address
Hi! Thank you for this video. Do you know if they sell a coupler for 12 mm?
Sorry for the late response!! I tried looking when I got the trailer, unfortunately did not have any luck. Let me know if you have found one 🤞
Will this work for the RadRunner mk1?
There not enough thread left on the axle to be safe

Same no way to get it on just right …
