Daisy Jacket

New Look 6737 Pattern. I completed this project on Saturday while my daughter and grandson were over for a weekend visit to the grandparents (complete with family background noises including TV, dishes, etc.) I sew on my kitchen table usually with lots going on around me, so it doesn't remove me from family life.

00:00- Intro Sew Along for New Look 6737
00:04- Serge finish any seams that will be exposed
01:32- Interface collar, lapel, and jacket front
03:24 Stay stitch jacket pieces and clip corners
05:06- Sew seam at back collar on interfaced pieces
06:15- Pin right sides together pieces 1 & 2
06:55- Sew piece 1 to piece 2 just shy of 5/8 seam
09:07- Next step; sew pieces 4 & 5 together
09:46- But first stay stitch the neck area
10:29- Pin pieces 4 & 5 together
11:36- Sew back seams to attach pieces 4 & 5
12:55- Pin collar area and upper sleeve area
15:40- Sew front and back of jacket together sleeves
17:37- Sew turn at collar back and sleeves
20:01- Pin together underarm seams and side seams
21:07 Sew jacket front to back underarm and jacket body
22:24- Serge seams to have a clean finish
25:01- Attach interfaced facing collar and front jacket
27:31- Sew jacket front facing and collar
32:53- Trim seam allowances and under stitch
42:23- Pressing
43:03- Corner cut out and jacket front hems
44:32- Sew hem on jacket bottom
46:17- Slipstitch inside collar area
50:01- Hem sleeves
51:46 Jacket Finished
