This man needs at least 100 millions subscribers. It's sad how unpopular he is. He works so hard.
Traum absolutely deserves multi million subscribers.
No he dosen't...
He deserves all the subs in the world

Hey guys, hope you're all doing well! ❤
Bro I was literally thinking of this piece earlier today 😂❤❤🎉
Hiii! I am doing well man.
Hi I missed you 💓
Hope you're doing good ❤
Oh, I love this. Thank you Traum
One historical fact about this etude. In 1837 Charles Valentin Alkan wrote Trois Morceaux dans le genre Páthetique op. 15 and dedicated them to Liszt. Liszt thanked them enthusiastically and warmly, but it is evident that Liszt was interested in Op. 15 No. 2 "Le vent" where Alkan uses the chromatic rise and fall of the notes in the scale and imitates the sounds of the wind in all different ways. The constant rise and fall of thirty-two sixths sounds almost impressionistic, which is why this opus is very controversial for critics (It was at the time when Alkan compared his style, moreover, few people could play with such beauty as Alkan in his time). But the important thing. Liszt was so impressed by this that in this etude (snow-whirls) he tried to imitate the same thing, the sounds of the wind in a winter landscape, and he succeeded quite well. Alkan must have played this etude with a smile when he saw it. By the way, Liszt used the same technique in his Ballade No. 2.
Speaking of Alkan… I would kill to see Traum play something by Alkan
@@AntorasStudio That's some strong words 🤔
Liszt also used the technique in Legend no 2! Another piece Id love to see traum plau
@@xenon3633 Yes you are right! To show power of sea waves.
@@Michelle6998832 Not really, Traum has so much potential to play Alkan. He could start off with his easier pieces maybe, like his Nocturne Op. 22 and Op. 35 No 3 (Both are very beautiful imo)
You control is on point, clean and clear playing with the melody standing out! I always envy how fast you learn these!
Yeah it's insane
Yes I can't play this
I found your choice of colors very curious. It took the story of a snowstorm out of my mind, which gave way to a new story in which a man is tempted by the devil, similar to the story of Faust and Mephisto. Nice performance and welcome back, Traum!
Agreed!
My dream is to see Traum play some Liszt Faust symphony (arrange for piano) lol
@@BBB-hi4hc Totally! The day I see a video in which Traum plays Stradal's arrangements of Liszt's symphonic poems and the Dante Symphony, my life will be complete, my friend!
that was indeed TRANSCENDENTAL, Thanks Maestro! for giving us such a stunning performance.
One of few pianists to play the beginning correctly (with only right hand) and so beautifully at the same time
You couldn't pick a best one right now ! Congrats Traum for making such a beautiful channel !
It is impressing how he uploaded most of the pieces from S.139, S.140 and S.141.
oh god , where do i begin with this piece. If there’s one piece i’d pick to perfectly describe my life, its Chasse Neige.
Welcome back, Maestro.
You not only kept your promise of uploading at least 1 piece a month, you came back with a banger! This is a beautiful interpretation.
You can PLOW through anything in your way, I have no doubt! ❤
Wow… reminds me of the magical performance by Triifonov in Lyon. France.. Thank you !!!
Wow Traum! Really happy to see you back! I like this etude, and you are close to play all of the Transcendental Etudes, that's amazing. Always thank you for uploading good music! :)
That’s some gentle approach there! The voicing are excellent and I see how you take your time on some passage, love it!
I'm glad you're back. Not only Playing one of Liszt's hardest etudes (perhaps my favorite) But also amazingly
you are the best pianist in TH-cam for me and for many other people
you inspire me a lot
This etude is one of his hardest etudes??
Yes indeed Chasse neige is one of the hardest etudes i will rank it 3rd @@derththeope3286
@@derththeope3286one of his hardest, though his hardest is debatable but usually the fifth
I love chasse neige because this melody is so lyric. so I have practiced this piece 2 weeks ago!!!
What a beautiful interpretation. The „reduced“ tempo is a very interesting approach. Thank you.
My favourite Transcendental Etude! You play it amazingly. Thanks for recording this.
Heard this played faster, but I honestly enjoy the slower pace. It brought out melodies and/or counter-melodies I hadn't heard before. Bravo!
Listen to Alexandre Kantorow
@@alexanderpower2195no thanks
My favorite transcendental etude!! Lovely interpretation Traum!
The master is back!
Finally he came back!!!
Best visualizer pianist on TH-cam
This upload excited me beyond comprehension, even at one in the morning.
I’m glad to hear you again, bravo 👏
You are literally everywhere, from Alkan to Sorabji videos...

how has traum not gotten 1 mil+ subs this man is literally the king of youtube piano
Such a beautiful and unique interpretation! Usually people would just play this fast.
Wow, I didn't expect you to perform this étude at all, but it's a very pleasant surprise😄
Yesterday I was listening to all Transcendentals and was thinking should i comment a request of No. 12 for Traum to do. And then today happened. I feel Traum is a mindreader.
Can’t wait for vision and ricordanza
Love the Liszt works! Recently I've developed a great fondness for Liszt's Ballade no.2 and I think you might have a great time with that piece too (I'm working on it myself). I'd like to see more interpretations of some of these highly slept-on Liszt pieces.
Agreed. Ballade 2 is one of my absolute favs of Liszt. His Harmonies Poétiques et Religieuses set is also amazing and kinda underrated (Invocation &Funerailes being my favourite)
Love your interpretation, your touch as delicate as snowflakes and the tempo variarions, there's so much emotion in your playing. You can be proud of this performance, it's beautiful ❤
Chasse-Neige is my favorite Transcendental Etude by far, and one of the most wonderful pieces in the entire music repertoire I've ever heard.
You couldn't choose a (literally) cooler piece to return on TH-cam.
Thanks and Congratulations!
Wow! What a strong return Traum, we have dearly missed your presence! Outstanding performance as always, especially loved some of the left hand voicings you did:)
I have been learning this piece for a while now, but there is still a long way to go. This was an exceptional performance. You are an inspiration to many people out there, myself included! :)
I self taught this piece to me. Its an amazong work from liszt. I think its actually my favourite piece from this devilish composer. Good luck and best wishes from me to play it one day completely through. Its an amazing journey, keep it up !
PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT!
I'm so glad you uploaded again, and this piece is just so beautiful! Can you learn Bagatelle Sans Tonalite by Liszt? It is one of my fav pieces.
Critically underrated
this etude is so deep and dramatic its gotta be my favourite. Thanks Traum.
I love your Liszt interpretations and it's awesome to see them all in this visual format too! I'm looking forward to the complete etudes set! Liszt wrote 24 etudes and as of now I can find you've recorded 17 of them. Only 7 to go!
Transcendental: 6; 9; 11
Paganini: All done!
3 Concert: 1 "Il Lamento"; 2 "La Leggierezza"
2 Concert: Waldesrauschen
Ab Irato: This one too!
Somebody pin this comment please
This is one of my favorite! Thank you, Traum!
Traum needs to be number one. All other piano TH-camrs always play pieces that are all know however this man plays all the pieces that are almost never played which is what is great about traum piano. And the fact that he makes me more interested in new types of music.😊
Traum . You've become a consumate master of this instument . I haven't heard this piece and it's difficulty is obvious . But what astounds me is you have some very serious players who all give the most wonderful tributes to your talent . We are all mystified by the relatively :"small" numbers of subscribers . I think it maybe because of your humourous videos you show from time to time . I think even you've become aware of how you've changed . Wonderful to hear from you . Thankyou 💞
Always comes back with a stunning piece!
Wieder Unglaublich. Danke.. The best.
love how you desynchronize the RH and LH starting at 1:56 for the melody line, reminds me of Kissin’s interpretation :)
Also huge respect going for the transcendentals, just a few more to complete the set! 🎉🎉🎉
I love watching you play. I am glad i found your channel
Love the expanding Liszt repertory; one of the most complete on TH-cam.
Two words: the best
what an astounding performance, I was left speechless! something about your interpretation of this piece just feels refreshing, superb playing as always
That’s some good control right there
My favourite Etude from this set! I really liked your approach of the beginning and the rest was as always amazing to hear. Thank you for the amazing performance!
I love it, I think transcendental etudes are incredibly magnificent and you’re always able to make them amazing, thank you for your work.
Those jumps at 2:39 really got me, had to spend over three hours. Maybe I wasn't ready for this etude. Well done as always Traum!
Beautifull interpretation! Liszt work is for me very inmportant and your feeling of Liszt and your way of interpretation makes Liszt even closer to me.
Traum is so talented, he should be a professional pianist.
Ahh...just like an orchestra. Beautifully done!
When he's gone for 2 months... then he drops this!
Vision no.6 ricordanza no.9 and harmonies du suir no.11 left to play
One of my favourite Transcendental Etudes.... thank you
Amazing!
You are doing a fantastic project right now, Traum. Good luck with the rest of the Transcendental set!
캬.. 돌아오셨군요.. 용사여.. 열심히 반복해서 들어보겠습니다.
난 오빠가 또 유튜브 비번 까먹었는 줄...
I think this is the most beautiful and lyrical Liszt transcendental etude, correct me if I'm wrong.
I also love how Traum builds up tension subtly! His tone is also amazing in the low tones. I think the difference between amateurs and good professionals are this tone. Doesn't matter what instrument, tone shows your depth and experience.
Top tier performance! Me wishing I could play piano like this :(
It’s so nice to hear you back with an amazing piece. Keep it up 👍👏
Incredible as always. The sound production and mixing is so on point and the dynamic contrasts are beautiful, not to mention the greatness of the performance itself.
bravo, traum bravo
Dang. Traum piano is underrated.
What synchronicity! I was just thinking about your channel today and revisited some of your newer vids, not having guessed that you'd post just hours later. Beautiful playing as always!
Sound tone and quality sounds amazing here...much better than some of the older vids. I would love to hear some of the older recordings redone with this new setup/soundfont, whichever it is. If you have time of course
The room feels colder after your performance! Bravo!
I love all your interpretations of liszt.
Your playing sonata in b minor became my favorite piece🙏
GIVE THIS GUY MORE VIEWS! HE DESERVES THEM (AND 10M SUBS)
Traum is back with another banger!!!! Keep it up!
Thank you so much for uploading this! It's my favourite piece and your slower tempo gave it a completely different feeling. As someone else pointed out it feels less like a snowstorm and more like a story about someone being tempted by the devil. Great playing!
Welcome back Maestro! Thank you for your playing. 🤍
Well played, Traum! This is a challenging piece and you managed it to pull it off very well!
My favourite trascendental etude thanks a lot Traum!
My favorite transcendental etude. And very well played thank you traum
I cant stop listening to this interpretation its so good!
This piece and your interpretation both are incredible, i can't tell how much effects me.
I love your slower tempo, it make the melodie even more striking, i was waiting for this etude (my favorite) and I am not disappointed
Now I remember this piece, when you start to play it. It's a very beautiful etude and you played it very well. Thank you for your amazing performance.. ❤
It’s a riveting performance. Thank you maestro
so inspirational, traum always inspires me to keep practicing. truly a master at what he does.
OMG. You actually did it!
Traum never disappoints ❤
Oh yeah
Good job traum! Proud of you 🎹
Definitely one of my favorite pianists and my inspiration as well.
Great you finally played this one this one my favorite trancendal etude

The last and the best!!
Dear Traum, your playing is so sublime, such a pleasure to watch how you master all the difficult passages and interpret the music so beautifully. Wonderful.
I love this etude
