Lol 🤣

I'm a normal person, i see Liszt on the title, i liked the video.
Levent K******** the piece is meant to be played at around 30 minutes and no. He played this at Normal speed. Probably faster than sequenced MIDIs because those are mostly bad (:

@@adom4223 I enjoyed seeing this comment
Sleep is important
It’s not about whether Liszt is or is not in the question but rather whether can u last those 30 mins too XD
Is that a cat hitting a vape?
Its 1:30 a.m., i have to go to school tomorrow, but i just couldnt sleep, because i had this melody in my head the whole day already and just couldnt figure out where it was from. I had an idea that it was probably liszt and now i finally got the answer: its the passage at 24:58. Now i can finally sleep peacefully.
Here is THE ONE that I promised!! 🤩
Liszt sonata is definitely one of the most difficult pieces in piano history. Not only technically but also emotionally challenging.
It’s challenging not only for the pianist but also for the listener. I hope you can survive until the end of the piece! 🤣

While of course, you see a lot of these kind of channels featuring genuinly talented pianists, with big and large pieces at massive milestones like 1million, you don't normally just see an out of the blue Liszt Sonata just floating around like this. It was a very enjoyable interpretation, and I applaud Traum on putting something like this out, shows character and that he genuinely just enjoys the art. Good job and congrats on 1k :)

Liszt dedicated this sonata to Robert Schumann, and its themes sound very Schumann-esque. Clara Schumann hated it and called it noise. The first time I heard it, I thought it was weird. The second time I heard it, I thought it was intriguing. The third time I heard it, I thought it was interesting. The fourth time I heard it, I thought it was brilliant. The fifth time I heard it, I thought it was inspired. The sixth time I heard it, I thought it was genius.

One of my favourite Liszt pieces. Bombastic!!!!
Thank you for this! I started working on this piece about three weeks ago, and it's going to be a year-long project for me. It's always great to hear others' interpretations of this masterpiece!
All of your performances deserve far more attention and recognition. Your renditions of Liszt's works are by far my favorite. Much love, respect and admiration for your content Traum, you are truly a great inspiration for me.
Woah! I'd sell my soul just to be able to play like that! Plus the frequent uploads! I'd like to see you try something different: Oscar Peterson / Jesus Molina - A Little Jazz exercise
The Flaming Piano I think Liszt sold his soul to compose it in the first place lol.
Thank you Flaming Piano 🙏 also thanks for letting me know the great pieces!
Please don’t sell your soul.
Paganini: _Allow me to introduce myself_
Sell it to me I want it
I could not believe my eyes when I saw the title. I meant, what a treat and privilege to hear and see this in TH-cam! Beautiful playing. Looks like Liszt had put all type of human emotions into a single piece.
I have been pouring over your incredible repertoire and I am so impressed with you Mr. Traum. Your piano speaks to my soul and the way you will the sounds from that keyboard is just utterly amazing and mesmerizing. I hope one day to see you in person and thank you for the hours of awe and inspiration you have provided me. Thank you TRAUM!!!!!
I'm realizing how exquisite the transitions between parts (not only between movements) are in this sonata.
Holy shit! A Liszt sonata right after a already technically and musically demanding Chopin scherzo? You are a true virtuoso!
🙏🙏
I love the ways Liszt's music interweaves between the technical and the emotive while having them overlap, clash and blend as one in so many instances. He produced some powerfully moving and intricate works and you played this with that Liszt vigor and enthusiasm. Bravo!
What a show!! This is so good, how can you play something so technically and musically so difficult, this is wonderful!
One of my favorite sonatas. Very well done as always Traum.
Wow, what can I say! Firstly, this is an incredible piece and its composition is miraculous and secondly you played it so well, technique and interpretation were impeccable. So good!
I’ve been in love with this piece for a long time and I’ve seen many interpretations of this on TH-cam.
I can honestly say that this is one of the best interpretations I have ever heard. So many of the great pianists make errors when playing this piece due to the difficulty of it but Traum’s version is pretty much flawless.
Traum’s interpretation of the first movement is fantastic, I love how the rhythm draws the listener in and has the listener wanting more.
Encore, encore!
One of my favorite Liszt pieces. This is amazing
This is my first time hearing this piece all the way though and needless to say, it was totally worth it, i loved every second of it. Even though this video is a couple months old now, I'm still astonished by your playing and interpretation skills.
Inspiring. It's like it physically produces hope and joy in the brain with these notes

one of the greatest pieces ever written
This is just breathtaking. I'm speechless.
Fantastic playing, you even ended this masterpiece with a staccato-ish chord like Anda had done, which gives me an interesting moment every time I listen to his recording
THAT is crazy. I can't even imagine, how exhausting is to play the whole piece and you did it first on youtube (I mean synthesia way). That is just unbelievable! I wish you millions of subscribers, no visualizing pianist deserves it more than you.
Also I think that you are very a talented performer, your interpretations are very interesting and even comparable to the great pianists' ones. I have a question: have you ever performed on the big stage? Are you going to continue making youtube videos after the quarantine ends??
Thank you! I hope I can tell you more about me later! ;)
Imagine, then, how mesmerizing the likes of Zimerman or Grynyuk playing the same piece; live, for everybody to see.
@raphael y was that a joke or a correction? I’m confused.
1st mvt (exposition) : 00:00
2nd mvt (developement) : 11:48
3rd mvt (scherzo) : 18:52
4th mvt (recapitulation+coda) : 20:22
P.s. I know it has one movement
I think the recapitulation begins from the "Scherzo" part.
I would disagree with the name scherzo
I think the name fugue fits it more, since scherzos are supposed to be light hearted
@@kennytran2860 Yh its very fugey and its a fugue i think
@@kennytran2860 Scherzo’s are lighthearted but typically during the romantic era they weren’t considered to be very light hearted, Chopins scherzos for example. they would then use scherzinos for a lighthearted version of the original scherzo
Octaves, chords, speed, thrills, runs complete package as usual 😌

Beautiful, Liszt's Ballade is also wonderful.

BRAVO! Amazing performance!
omg your octaves are so clean
I remember a couple of college professors who enjoyed trashing Liszt, labeling his music as "hollowly virtuosic" and "robotic." This piece, and many others, utterly refute those assessments, as far as I'm concerned, and frankly, I think they were just jealous of the greatness that was Liszt.
Thank you for bringing this to light, in this medium. Happy New Year!
Those professors probably think La Campanella is the hardest Liszt piece
They never listened to Liebestraüm, La Campanella or Un Sospiro.
I forget to Hungarian Rhapsodies(specially no. 2 and 6) and consolations.

Came here for Martha Agerich, who, as far as I'm concerned, is the first and last word on this sonata. But this was very enjoyable and I watched to the end. It's a mesmerising work, isn't it? You either feel it, or you don't. And pity you if you don't.

This Liszt' s sonata is magical and really beautiful, and you also performed it really well. Is beautiful how Liszt transformed the thems for example: 1:01/1:32-5:34 or 1:01/1:32 to 6:25. 14:01,14:35 those passages are so dramatically beautiful 3:16 to 3:24 is so "magic" how Liszt arrive at this marvellous theme.
