@@aidangibson2323 Mèreaux etude op 63 no 45, Listen on TH-cam. you don't have to search much for the performance I recommend, just pick the only performance that's played by a human
Fantastic, and I mean fantastic, performance of this notoriously difficult Liszt masterpiece. Real drama, real emotion, and extraordinarily well played. 😎🎹
Wonderful, terrific & brilliant etude! My fav by Liszt Very sensitively performed on 3:04 - 3:25 The technical features of the performance are simply beyond praise!
This piece is beautiful, my favorite transcendental etude aftet Wilde Jagd. Liszt truly was a virtuoso amongst the virtuosos for being able to play this monstrosity at the original tempo, because here even Traum has to edit his performance and accelerate it to reach this almost impossible speed while keeping control and accuracy throughout the piece (don't mistake me, he's extremely good anyways, I can only dream of having his talent lol)
Next I would love to see you perform Beethoven's Apassionata sonata. That piece is so so so sooooo good, and the third movement is insanely difficult (arguably the most difficult piece for the piano he had made up until that point) I want to see your interpretation of it.
Nah, just a regular upload.... Thats what i like in Traum, he just upload everything that he can play. Also, in 1:22, you played so well that I got so many goosebumps that I don't even know if my hair is going to come back. I never heard an interpretation so correct that it redefined what I thought of this masterpiece. Traum, I love your videos! You don't play "screaming" with the keys, you play talking to the piano as if it were your safe haven. I don't know anything after this video
check out the interpretation of tiffany poon on this piece, which I personally find better than Traum's (which is kinda crazy, seeing how good this guy is)
I believe he upload each of the songs he knew at a daily rate, and now practices harder piece while learning easier pieces so there's not that many days between uploads
Also, a lot of this music is by composers he clearly knows well, when you know a composer well it isnt hard to learn their pieces in a relatively short time
When i see this video i think about system visual Rousseau, Kassia etc... Very nice composition by Franz LISZT and evidently big Thumb up for Traum Piano.
Oh, I think you play the darker, mor desperate Liszt so very well -even better than your Chopin. You often give me the impression that you're just waiting to cut loose, even when playing adagio, so I think Liszt gives you the fredom to do just that, which you do with such aplomb. Nga mihi nui from Aotearoa, the Land of the Long White Cloud
Kylee, You always write the most thoughtful comments! Traum is extremely lucky to be appreciated by a "thinker" fan! I am not a musician but love Classical music. Do you play any instrument? You have deep understanding of these pieces.
Lisztomania was the intense fan frenzy directed toward composer Franz Liszt during his performances. This frenzy first occurred in Berlin in 1841 and the term was later coined by Heinrich Heine in a feuilleton he wrote on April 25, 1844, discussing the 1844 Parisian concert season. Lisztomania was characterized by intense levels of hysteria demonstrated by fans, akin to the treatment of celebrity musicians today - but in a time not known for such musical excitement.
I don't like synthesia, but what I really appreciated in this video is how the falling blocks let us see that even a great of a piano player as Traum makes mistakes. You can clearly see where he accidentally plays an adjacent note with the correct one. And the fact that we don't even hear it goes to show how inconsequential mistakes like these in playing really are.
this is why i love workng night shifts im always awake for traums video drops. maan another transcendental etude i love them!!!!. your going to run out of repertoire soon bud lol
