    Watch Jordan Peterson's "Vision & Destiny" on DW+ bit.ly/3KrWbS8
Peterson draws upon his extensive research and relatable real-life experiences to illustrate how to develop attainable goals for intimate relationships, meaningful friendships, and your career. Transform the chaotic potential of the future into actuality - with a vision.
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Derek Kreifels discuss the primary role of the state treasurer and why now, with the onslaught of ESGs and anti-fossil fuel divesting, their stewardship is so important.
Derek Kreifels is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the State Financial Officers Foundation (SFOF), the only nonprofit in the U.S. that combines ground-breaking free-market research with a strong network of states’ treasurers, auditors, and other financial officers, to actively sustain the health of each state’s economic outlook.
Before co-founding SFOF in 2012, Kreifels spent five years as Assistant State Treasurer of Kansas, where he oversaw the state’s college savings plan, ABLE plan, debt and bond management, and pension investments. During his tenure, his office processed over $21B annually, and he managed 42 employees with an annual budget of over $3.5M.

That introduction, I needed to hear that. I just got off work late, my car just died on me halfway home, and I just finished cursing and complaining about how I'm not appreciated at work. Saw a notification of Dr. Peterson's video and that introduction just uplifted me. While watching the video, waiting on a tow truck, my wife just called saying she was coming over to wait with me. Now she's here with my daughters and they brought me food. It just hit me, I'M APPRECIATED AT THE RIGHT PLACE. Thank you. 🙌

Jordan is not right on this, his arguments that ESG is a reason for China to expand carbon is incorrect plus China has a massive green movement. Germanys problem is not ESG but a policy decision from within the country and we have to wait to see the outcome further into the future.

Although Jordan does pretty good job explaining ESG, check out Vivek Ramaswamy for an even better explanation.
Also not sure why Jordan differentiate between ESG and DEI. The latter is literally among the goals of the "S" in ESG.
Hire a diversity officer, open a diversity office or get a diversity training scam for $25k a day in your company, and book - the company ESG score goes up.

Tesla, which mass produces electric cars has a low ESG score. It's completely political.
ESG disregards a companies product, their sales, talent, cash flow and of most importance return. Instead they focus on melanin and estrogen in the company workforce and board.
ESG funds returns are terrible. It's like judging elected officials on their looks and not on their policies. Completely stupid.

They have all watched their 401ks just dissolve in front of their eyes over the past two years. You know, after they went up the previous years. Like losses of 50%. And their is nothing they can do, they are retiring. It’s really making me think the idea of a 401k is asinine. It’s a shit benefit. You don’t choose which investments are being made, and how much they match is irrelevant if when it’s time for you to retire, the federal reserve and the government are actively trying to crash the market and destroy the country. BlackRock provides risk tooling for most mutual funds.
Mutual funds select investable bits based on the expressed risk/return (benchmarks) of their funds and the expertise of their fund managers.
The promise behind this is that these investable bits become interoperable and are more cheaply packaged for liquidity and can be appropriately hedged on a variable basis.
The investable bits are only investable if they follow the view of the house BlackRock.
Blackrock may have good intentions but poor implementation due mostly to penalties and incentives misalignment at the lower level.
The 2008 financial crisis was made possible by the debt packaging tooling created by BlackRock, a revolutionary product that allows more people to access credit.
But a dishonest representation of risk at credit rating agencies (influenced by banks) and at banks themselves made this turn to ... very quickly.
It was the upper class that took advantage of this more than those who the credit was meant for and they defaulted because it was not a good deal anymore.
If banks could not sell their debt the banks would have acted ethically.
ESG does not attract capital, because it does not make money in most cases, but Blackrock promises a low cost of capital to investable companies.
Innovation will happen and it will compound due to the amount of investment in the ESG space.
Compounding growth can make the 2030 idealistic goal a reality but there is a cost.
Company earnings are fragile but capital will not flow out because there is simply no better place for it to go with liquidity, diversification, and an idea of risk.
Blackrock knows this well and they have created a new corporate tax.
The cost is great and this forcing function will destroy more than it creates.

They aren't even touching half of the issues surrounding ESG. Small private organizations that should have a right to not pay some ridiculous ESG consulting firm money are forced into this also. Publicly traded retailers (in order to suffice their own ESG goals) are instructing all their product suppliers to provide them with their organization's ESG metrics, threatening to drop their products if their request isn't sufficiently met. Now how do you think this fares when thinking about American made products vs Chinese made? Do you think Chinese suppliers will be honest with the metrics they come up with? Do these retailers have any legal grounds in China to substantiate their metric claims? No. So all this does is further increase the cost of goods made in America in a time when inflation is running a muck. 👏Hooray for the Biden administration for their success in further selling out America under the guise of environmentalism.

Here's nothing new that you may already know of a tiny glimpse of financial, Fed a bank cartel feeyat 'money' based on nil. Casino system greed, speculation, value balloons, and more debts, mortgages, equity loans, car loans, reverse mortgages, student loans, etc all plus interest/ usury.
-Value balloon busts- with an array of musical chair financial games whereby most people ('family') are left without chairs.
Consider that for example, mortgages were in past were very rare and when utilised lasted a few months to 3 years. Since 1945 mortgages have steadily become longer duration, i.e., 1-3 yrs, 3-5yrs, 3-7yrs, 7-12yrs, 10-15yrs, 12-20yrs, 15-25yrs, 20-30yrs, 30-50yrs essentially approaching human lifetime. Give tries to calculating examples to convey perspective regarding prices of cars and added usury/ interest, applicable relative to the pickle 97% of population are burdened with.
The above are plus various taxes, insurance, etc. ...Upkeep.
Also, consider does property ownership actually exist?
      Why?
Do ''property owner's'' exist for such as land, farm, house, small-business, etc or are they actually owned by local, town, city, county, state/ province, national government, but are actually only rented by levies, taxes/fees on property to 'property owner' ?

I know this is old now but folks should check out the Marxism is a Religion podcast with James Lyndsay. Then just about any of James's videos on ESG, DEI, SEL and the WEF and United Nations role in all this as well as the teacher's unions in the US support of all of these should really clarify some things. You just THOUGHT this topic was scary.
Fair warning, James Lyndsay's podcasts over at New Discourses can go 3 hours, but give a thoroughly "in the weeds" breakdown of the History of Marxism and how all this has been rolling out for AT LEAST the last 50 to 60 years. A LOT of it can be linked back to the old Soviet Union.
Folks should also do a crib course on JBP podcast with James Russell Mead I believe his name was. Was called nukes, war and power I think.

When the printing presses in Europe first allowed the common man to proliferate ideas, there was an immediate crack down on the use of printing presses. They were all brought under censorship controls by the secular powers but also in particular Church oversight to stop questions just like this you mention: public land usage; from being talked about. Hundreds of thousands of people were summarily executed, many excommunicated and burned alive as examples. The great saint of historical record Martin Luther published incendiary language supporting these censorship measures. However much he disagreed with the monopoly on thought owned by Rome, he certainly wasn't going to have some plebs, the hoy poloi common people inserting their voices into conversations among their betters either. He said to 'kill them like dogs in the streets' and 'they have abandoned their godly and rightful place' etc... We don't learn about that part of the story in schools strangely enough. This tyranny we're seeing today and the divide and conquer hate mongering is the same pattern being repeated with the revolution of internet communication being too freely available and the common people asking questions IMO.
