Looks cool, but I don't think they could go that fast in reality without damaging the floor or something, those kerbs and the Karussell are just too brutal. Even the Porsche 919 Evo drove around the Karussell and not through. But still mega impressive, I know how hard it is, to get one clean lap in and the graphics look sick as hell=)
Exactly, Heidfeld did a lap on the BMW F1.06 in 2007 not at full speed, but cool video, and I think in september they Red Bull will participate in a class with couple of their old F1 cars
you could have fooled me with this as real footage, wow. The detail this video misses is the porpoising sound the ferrari makes. Scratching the floor.. you know. Add that and it's perfect.

God damn does this look realistic. The shadows of the trees look totally real.
The race would only be 12 laps and there would be pit stops every 5 laps.

Graphics are so damned good these days, was fooled for a bit but the engine is a dead give away. Also agree with other comments that the floor would be smashed to pieces on some of those corners and banking. Great video nevertheless! 👍

Did you use unlimited ers? Because 5:06 is incredibly quick in this car and you had a few errors and I noticed points where you could have gone faster? Jimmy broadbent did a 5 10 in the f2004 and that was a near perfect lap. No way this car is faster than the f2004

Do you know what I had trouble seeing if that was a sim or not but what gave it away was the pace. There is no way a Ferrari works driver would be sticking wheels on the grass at nearly 200 mph round there. Brilliant though.

Is this a game? And render? Part of me thinks it's real track footage, slightly sped up, and car footage from an F1 game with a green screen or something,. But i can only imagine how much editing the shadows and matching movement would take

Amazing driving, but through no fault of your own it is still 24 seconds a lap slower than the 19 year old F2004 on grooved slicks. F1 needs to get its act together, this is not what progress looks like!

How can it be that 919 evo set the fastest lap in Nordshleife with a time of 5:15, yet this lap is 5:06?
lol a real F1 car would be destroyed due to bottom floor being shattered on this track. In case you're wondering this is just a game. Yes a real f1 car will be faster tho but needs lots of adjustment before we can even try at this track and am still unsure if that can be done.

@@siliconcrayon Can’t do it with the current ground effect cars but the possible with the older generation cars . Need to run at a large ride height with specialized tires
