I wonder how many people are going online to buy because they don't live within an hour of someplace that sells comics. As much as I love my LCS, I miss the newsstand.
Publishers, distributors, and "local" comic shops want to sell fewer comics for more money. Local comic shops try to make us feel sorry for them, but their incentive variants keep them warm at night. Generations are growing up less literate because kids can't walk to a gas station and buy comic books that are appropriate for young readers without gender and political grooming messages and write self-inserts. Spidey Super Stories taught me to read. I miss newsstands too.

I'm talking new comics that have just hit the racks not ones that have been out for a bit. Don't even get me started on the hack couldn't cut it at the Huffington Post writers they must be using to write their stories now.
Seriously tho! That's why I never take my comic shop for granted! Especially because the owner brings out all new comics on thursdays and has them 20% off!
WHO is paying $25 for Ghost Rinder #28?!? Ive had 2 copies on eBay for over a year for way less & no hits. I see them all the time in the $10 range...in fact I saw several on my weekend trip to Las Vegas comic shops...
Miloti, Farrell, and Rhenzy Feliz as the Penguin’s Driver Victor Aguilar who’s dealing with a very bad case of PTSD from the bombing and flooding seen at the end of “The Batman”. I really thought some characters who haven’t made an appearance would be missed. Nope, NADA. As a matter of fact, i find myself rooting for all three leads. Farrell has made a fully 3D representation of the Penguin, that after you start rooting for him, he does something really shitty, which then makes you question why you were rooting for him in the 1st place.
He's a villain.........you are not supposed to root for him. Farrel does such a great job and the writing is so sharp, I know it's hard not to want to root form him,but it's scenes like that, that pull you back and make you realize, Oh yeah he is a villain.
@@gregoje42 The new 52 was a huge mistake for DC with their alternate takes on core characters. The only series worth a damn was Batman. I'm talking writing (what actually matters), I could care less how "valuable a book is to collectors, it's all about the story.
My LCSs can't give their Absolute Wonder Woman's away. It sucks. No one is buying it here in Central Florida. I am shocked to even see it on the list. The art was Absolutely horrible and DCs actually demeans the WW character by this take.
The reason why no one has those absolute books on their radar is because they do not want to get burned buying something that is only going to last for a short while where Absolute Batman is only 5 issues. There will be an event series that would mesh the universes together or delete the absolute one. You speculators are so dumb to the point that I need to revisit eliminating them 24 years ago.
I love Dr. Aphra, and it would be amazing to see her in live action, but Star Wars is dead to me. I wouldn't touch anything Star Wars it's a dead franchise...
Love it when you guys give prices and don't tell your viewers the price difference between direct and newsstand copies. Better off not discussing FMV if you aren't going to be transparent and honest with your viewers
