They really only have the one hit, but they're such lovable vagabonds who like to fiesta. Plus, they show that Donald is capable of having friends who aren't Goofy and Mickey.
I'm under 30 too. My parents showed me pretty much ALL the animated Disney movies. Even the 1940s package films. So yes, I knew about the Three Caballeros.
My mom was a major fan of Ducktales that she fangirled really hard at a yard sale when she found the movie. She gave it to me, 7 year old, and begged me to not let it go for anything!!! Let me just say after I watched the movie I got interested in the whole Donald Duck family tree and even read some old comics dated back to 1940s at antique stores. I eventually read about Panchito and Jose around the age 14. Let it be known, I'm a Donald Duck fan and know a bit too much about him. 😅
I don’t Like Three Caballeros. I watched all Disney movies On Disney+. Except for One “Make mine Music”. For Reasons Unknown? But I show No disrespect.
As a brazilian i liked this episode and seeing José Carioca getting some appreciation in the show, even having a brazilian voice actor. I know it sounds weird but it's kinda rare to see Brazil getting represented in media, and ever rarer to see a character actually being voiced by someone from the country. Also, the "everyone here is nice" thing in the episode is a reference to a stereotype Brazil had for a long time, and considering how it ends i think you got the message (Btw in 4:52 she said the word wrong in case you wanna get the joke)
@@Wick_n_Embers I always found that odd considering they always got a Mexican actor for Panchito even in House of Mouse where it was Carlos Alarzaqui. I liked Paulsen's take but it should have been someone else
There's a show about them on Disney+. It's in an alternate timeline to the Ducktales reboot or something like that. Apparently it's terrible, but I kinda like it.
@@killernyancat8193 The Legend of the Three Caballeros! I enjoyed it very much too! Even though It's meant for a much younger audience but if your a Caballeros fan it's still very cool to get more content from their characters❤💙💚
bit of history the 3 caballeros were disney's attempt to help the american agenda of unifying northern, central, and southern americas. Donald was the clumsy but lovable hothead American sailor. he's a hothead and in many instances in his cartoons, a bit selfish and a trouble maker, but overall a decent soul. Panchito (Romero Miguel Junipero Francisco Quintero Gonzalez III) Pistoles, is the adventurous, and daring musician from Mexico (a red rooster). ontop of being a musician he is alsso a form of vaguero, with his nickname pistoles and his guns. like Donald he is cartoonishly animated in his excitement but more so with his joy then donald's anger. of the 3 though he is the most worldly in general knowledge José Carioca is the swav and charismatic Malandragem, ladiesman. and part-time voodoo man (from one short where he is showing of his magic to donald) from rio (a green parrot) and is overal Donald's opposite in characteristics. while Panchito can also be more cool headed then donald, unlike both of them Jose is always cool. they both bring the highlights of their cultures and stereotypes, and work together as probably the closest friendship we have ever seen Donald actually have. and i love them.
There was also a great Don Rosa comic that reunited them after highlighting how much the other citizens of Duckburg (i.e. Scrooge, Gladstone, Daisy, etc.) all abuse Donald and treat him like trash sometimes. It really showed that Jose and Panchito view Donald as an equal and valued friend, plus it was Huey, Dewey, and Louie who reunited them because they care about Donald and wanted him to be happy.
They made a series in 2018 called "The Legend of the Three Caballeros" which stars Donald, José and Panchito, as well as Daisy and her three nieces. It would be awesome if you could do a reaction to it Zamber. It requires no knowledge of any of the previous works featuring the three caballeros.

I didn't even know about Saludos Amigos though till last year when I decided to hunt down and marathon every single animated Disney movie. But as a kid I had to have rewatch Three Caballeros so many times and wanted to see José and Panchito more so this episode really got my nostalgia
I'm from Portugal and, as a portuguese speaker, I actually liked how they addressed the beautiful language Portuguese is in this episode. They even put an actual Brazilian actor voicing José Carioca. My only issue is with the way they say José's name. They say it as if he is a Spanish speaker. The letter "J" in Portuguese is pronounced just like in English.

I understand completely! I was born in 96, so I only knew them from pictures and old commercials (and that awesome ride in Epcot inside the Mexican pyramid). The only think I knew about them was they sang a song. That’s it! And maybe traveled the world to teach children. However! Lately, Disney made a series of The Three Caballeros as warriors and it was awesome! See, all three never met before but come together after Donald’s Great Uncle leaves them an old shack in his will and discover an ancient book with an imprisoned goddess inside. She tells them they are the descendants of the Three Caballeros, three best friends who were also adventurers/warriors. Now they must save the world from a dark evil...while Donald tries to save his relationship with Daisy.

It was released with a couple other movies as a money spinner to get revenue for their next real film. Louie, Huey, and Dewey are all the same colors as Jose, Panchito, and Donald(In his Blue Sailor Outfit) Respectively. 3:17 Yeah, That Explains A lot. Not all But A lot. I also agree that the Strawberry Shortcake reboot was very bleh. The best part, IMO, was hearing some of the MLP voice actresses in it. Oh, and making fun of it.
Zamber you wound me, I'm 29 and I know the three Caballeros! I'm not ancient. XP
You don't have to be _ancient_ to watch n appreciate classic disney!
2:30 I have The films DVD so I understand it
I only know of the Three Caballeros from an episode of "House of Mouse."
Quick question y’all, what’s the next episode after this she is gonna react to?
I'm portuguese, so I can actually read the inscriptions. They're fun
Okay easy there with words like 'ancient'! You'll be my age in just ten short years! Then who'll be ancient!
Me..... obviously... but still! XD
9:41 Like Sheen from Jimmy Neutron, Tucker from Danny Phantom and Numbuh One from Kids Next Door.
Quem é do Brasil fala "FLOR CARNÍVORA".🇧🇷
I love how We(The Royal “We”.) Got to See Jose and Panchito. From Three Caballeros, a Disney Movie from The Wartime era, when Disney made Package films.❤💙💚 That was a Nice Callback.😇 I’m a Disney Dork. And I’ll remain that Way Til’ I die. I watched All 62 Disney movies On the First 10 day of Summer. Actually Make mine Music wasn’t on there. For Reasons Unknown. So I had to watch a Video. If That Doesn’t scream Disney Dork, Idk what Will? Three Caballeros is My Least Favorite Disney Film. Sry. But I don’t hate the Three Caballeros as Characters. Louie, Huey, and Dewey are all the same colors as Jose, Panchito, and Donald(In his Blue Sailor Outfit) Respectively. 3:17 Yeah, That Explains A lot. Not all But A lot. In the Original Movie they Use the Word “Gay” as a Synonym For “Happy” and Panchito’s Holsters Use to Carry Guns But The Writers Changed it to Hold Smartphones. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy did do a Parody of The three Musketeers. 10:42 1944.
