@@alfakrab6134 tech support is best thru website cell phone or email. Your tailhousing has a 12mm bolt in the casting. You should take it out it has a nub on the end put all shift rods in N then put bolt back in. Sounds like your R bolt is outside the slot
Hey! Nice video, i gave the same problem but seems its engaged in the 5th gear, and i can't unlock. All advices are welcomes. (Sorry if you don't understand my grammar, i don't speak english)
You may have an issue with the clutch pack on fifth and reverse. Have you recently installed a switch or a bolt in the top threaded holes of the transmission?
@@Zuksoffroad problem solved! Was the bolt on the guide(? I don't know how to explain, but we removed the bolt, and the gear engaged very easy. Then, we put the bolt on his place and all good. Thanks for asking
Pops laughs at me when I take mine apart. I do it in less than 10 minutes. Exactly how he explained it is how you do it. 10 MM for the top 3 bolts, 12 mm for the big ones on the bottom. Hold onto the bolts when they're about to come out so it doesn't drop under your ride. Take your time pulling them out, the tower is aluminum.
I've tried banging the tower with a rubber hammer (although I cant get that much momentum down there) and it still won't come off? Any tips? Should I try wedging it off with a knife?
No because that’s another video I invented the brass bushing and three wave washer long ago. Here is the link for that video th-cam.com/video/mcy3_oVVJfM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CCF8-jVUHljzswMX

Do you have any videos or info on the Samurai pickup? Is that factory or modified?
One of a kind made by us. Just been to busy to finish it
@@ZuksoffroadAwesome! I’d love to see a video on the Samurai pickup!
I have no Fifth or Reverse. Is there an issue with my lock plate? Mine also doesn't seem to flip up as high as yours does
Take the switches bolts or plugs out of the top. The fifth reverse rod is locked down by one of them.

You say, while its in the car, does the trans need to come out to get the notches lined up?
No it’s done right they the shifter hole up top on the trans tunnel. You can’t see them til you remove the tower.

My tower won’t come off the Suzuki after removing the bolts. Any suggestions?
