What kind of horsepowers can the sj413 handle? I am putting a 1.8 20vt from VW in mine sj413. And want to know how many horsepower I safely can drive

Any advise on adding a turbo to the same 1.3 but fuel injected?

Watch ever video of yours I have a 88.5 with 6.5 transfer case gears. Run 31's and 1.3 engine, spring over, electric power steering. Such could use a transfer case cradle. So if l can't win one I will use the word Mike!!!!!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is worthwhile upgrading to the 26 spline front axles if sticking to stock sized tyres and not a huge suspension lift? Do you recommend a parts supplier for this? The rebuilding the front diff changing up the side gears I'm thinking would be a cool challenge. I've got to rebuild the SJ41 rear diff anyway (loose flange with Pinion Movement, I assume it's that crush sleeve you talked about). I'm a Mechanic apprentice looking at getting more hands on experience doing the old school jobs we rarely get these days in the workshop. SJ70/SJ413 tin top and a SJ41/SJ410 tray back. In Australia and hoping to get the SJ70 going as an everyday driver and do the occasional bush/desert 4wd track.

Great work, also I figured out the Auto Headlights; I used a connector I grabbed from a doner car and splice in 3 Relays tied into the harness under the dash. Ground to Chassy, and on the harness: Solid White is the Parker's, Red is High Beams, and Red w/white stripe for low beams. Then used the cigarette/radio for the Key on/off signal.

I’m a welder/fabricator by trade and have to fight the urge to build all your stuff myself (for my rig of course) but hey man you put it the hard work and trial and error to produce this stuff I think I’ll just buy from the professional! Love your channel man keep it up! Watching from Texas

I'll be up front, I'm not terribly fluent in gear talk. But, I have a 1991 Suzuki Jimny (JA11) with an F6A (657cc) engine that I got from my time stationed in Japan. The intent was to always do an engine swap on it, but I've neglected it for too long while I've been still overseas. Now that I'll be more collocated with it, I want to finish this project, but it looks like finding engines (and people with knowledge on the subject) are starting to dry up pretty fast. You mentioned quite a bit how the conversion kits are built for pairing with the G13 engine. Do you know if the JA11 with F6A engine I have will be able to use any of these conversion kits? Is the 5-speed manual transmission I've got in it going to work with a 2.0 or 2.3 engine swap? Any assistance or knowledge you're willing to share would be greatly appreciated.

My 86/87 has 6.5 gears in the case when I rebuilt it, shifter sheets, cross over steering, and diesel, plus a stage two clutch. I've saved a couple Toyota axle set ups, 79 and 83's. And shafts. Just in case I need to upgrade.
