i am assembling a single speed wheel. spoke lengths i have for left spoke is 279.4 and for right is 279.1. does this mean i can use 279 for both sides

I’m new to this stuff. Will this calculation works for fat wheels too? I keep assuming that since fat rims spokes are farther apart, so there might be a different way to calculate the spoke size. Correct me if I’m wrong.

The online spoke length calculator he links you to takes all that into consideration. You just have to measure the left-right distance between the rows of nipple holes on your fat rim.

You might have already found this information but spoke length must also include 1 cross, 2 cross, 3 cross etc.
