I have a ONN 4K STREAMING BOX. Can I record Live TV coverage. I have a DVR with my cable tv but the rates have gotten ridiculous. The only thing stopping me from getting rid of the cable is finding a way to record some football games and other shows to watch later.

@keving That's exactly the situation I'm in. @rojas. Is there anything out there that will do that?
This is a screen recorder only, it will not pre record a prog if it has not come onto the screen, so for example if you wanted to record a film on Prime video it has to be playing. You can set a time to record, but if it is say a live football game it has to be on the channel to record. Its not like a sky box where you just click on a prog you want to watch and it will record, like I said it will only record what is on the screen.

@@rohasstreamingtech Yes ok but if you connect the firestick into to the Cloner Alliance, it doesn't works for drm protection. You need for a splitter like in 3.07 Min, bottom on the right, to bypass this problem otherwise you can't do anything.

Does this only record as mp4 file and only stereo audio?

I got one of these last month, but I’ve been frustrated by the low quality of footage I’ve been able to record from an AppleTV (not 4k version) or BluRay player. Whenever I move my footage up my computer, the file has tons of artifacts and color banding (definitely not what I see on my TV). Do you have any advice?
Check the settings and output. I normally stick to h264 if available

Can you set this up to record? Last say on pixel at a certain time and then also say, a few hours later, automatically go to sling and record a show. In Europe, a town for the 2 weeks come back and watch him. Is that possible with this machine? Nobody gets into that.
awesome How do you pre record with timer//? Do you have the app open or channel on to pre record? Do video on setting up time recoding.

It starts with Checking... Fire logo... Then it goes back to the Cloner image saying no input... The firestick won't bootup when connected... Is this a known bug?

Press and hold the h264/h265 button on the cloner box for 5 seconds. when the picture shows let go of the button
I dont see any mention of audio. Does this record Dolby Atmos? What are its audio capabilities? 4k is great but 4k without great sound is falling a bit short and could be a deal breaker for some people.
The device has a codecs. When you dvr or record, you normally loose that on any device
