Thanks Chris, a VERY useful space saver and its quick and easy to do.... when youre determined!😅
The idea is setup ADB etc then leave them in place and then just type the command every so often to free up space, once its setup the first time then its really quite easy.

I got a Connection Failed error message, but totally forgot to turn ADB debugging On, located under My Fire TV/Developer options...IT WORKS YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!!!!❤❤

When loadind the app my screen says connection failed. Followed video to the letter. Please help😮

What I've done is save the text on my note pad app and open up the firestick remote app so i can copy and paste it making it so much easier 👍 0:28

i think because i changed settings in network to stop firestick updating it does not connect
I got a connection failed. Why is it even trying to connected to anything? I’m I suppose to have this app setup on another device like a phone or computer to get it to work?
I really thought this was going to be the panacea for clearing cache with one button. However, the time it takes to do all this is too time-consuming. It's just as fast as doing it manually. If it was just clicking the button it would have been a fantastic app! Perhaps it will be someday. Thanks for sharing the video though.
The first time you follow this there is a bit of setup but Once Adb shell is setup just leave it there and simply type in the command every time you want to cleanup, it’s much quicker than going through every app individually.

Is it a good idea to clear all cache as they help to load the app faster. To my understanding only to "force close " the app unless the app is having issues then we need to clear cache. What gives?
The reason I say to force close the app is to make sure the app is not running in the background and is not stopping you from clearing out the cache or data.
Get connection failed after i click connect . Shows allow abs debugging foa split second. Then connection failed
Do you know of one that will work on the shield? I have tried thisone on 3 and uts a no go. But i did pass the video on to friends with firesticks

Please try restarting your fire stick by holding down the middle button and play pause button until it says that your device is restarting.
I'm using a 2nd Generation cube and when I open up ADB I see raven: and not kara: is this the same ?

I’ve got as far as ‘connecting to local host :5555’ but it won’t go any further just constant spinning wheel. I have made sure ADB is enabled. Any ideas Chris?

I have OS 8 on my Firestick, I can find the APP but when I try to install it it then tells me the APP is not found.

Hello Chris, I've been trying to use it on my Nvidia shield but once I put localhost click connect and it doesn't give me the option to carry on
I am afraid I don't have a shield so not 100% sure of the problem, you could try typing 127.0.0.0 in place of localhost this may help.

Why do we have to clean caches ?
They take up room and also after a while if the caches get too large then it can actually do the opposite of what caches are supposed to do and slow down the app and device.
it says connecting to host and that's all it does
Unfortunately Amazon have blocked ADB Commands from being run locally on the device at the moment, so this is not working at present, I am hoping they will remove the block soon.

Clearing the cache is clearing the temporary files for each app, it should not remove anything important.

Try seeing if it’s in the App Store.
I did this on three of my fire sticks. I was able to create more space, however, it did not clear the cash on all my apps.
The cache will build up again and there is always a minimal amount of Cache left after cleanup!

Mantis is the code name for the 4k first gem sticks!

What Version of Fireos do you have?
after I put local host and 5555,then pressed connect it came up connection failed, connection refused
Please restart your Firestick, also make sure that ADB Debugging is switched on!
Did everything and install unknown apps etc and it still fails

After typing in the command, I received the error message that I did not have permission to run the command. Any thoughts?
It appears that this command only works on Fire OS 7. It worked on my Firestick 4K Max but not for my Firestick 4K using Fire OS 6.

I am sorry to hear that, I am not sure why you are getting not allowed, if you are using one of the newer sticks this could be the reason.

Doesnt connect no matter what I do. What a god dam pain. I even uninstalled it same error. VPN off follwed instructions to the letter. Why would I subscribe or even like if the first thing I see and try doesnt even work.!!! Waste of my god dam time
Clean firestick with one command? Really? No mention of downloader or developer settings or the other nonsense. One command? Don't think so!
Once it's set up then it is only one command going forward.

SORRY TO MUCH WORK!
It is the first time you use it, but once its setup then you just use the command and it will clean all your apps, which is less work than going through each app automatically!
U don't know what you're missing😂
