I think one aspect that doesn't get mentioned much that makes the 20$ and 15$ sticks more appealing to purchase is the lower power consumption that makes it easy to just stick into any television that happens to have a USB port without any issues, which was quite the deal maker for my parents who already have a bunch of things using up the electrical ports.
I have the $20.00 onn box and the $50.00 on box. I agree with your comparison. I already had the 20 dollar version equipped with an otg adapter as well as an ethernet adapter. That being said, I think the performance of the pro version is almost negligible if one has the 20 version equipped with an otg/ethernet adapter. If you already have an otg and ethernet adapter sitting around, I'd go with the original. If not, I'd buy the pro version.
the otg adapter thing is useless, for example,if you move let's say tivimate to the external storage,it's useless, wont work, same thing with any other app
One factor too is where you are going to use it. You would probably want the Pro for your living room tv, but the $20 model would probably work perfectly well on bedroom tv or one that doesn’t get as much use.
I just bought the 4k $20 box for my 6 year old Sony that had been slowing down. Wow…..what a nice device. It’s fast and does everything I need it to do. The setup and updates were slow and I have fiber internet. So plan on about 30 minutes for that but once that is done you’re good to go. I highly recommend.
Thank you very much, I have a T98 which is over 8 years old. I have wanting a new fairly priced streaming box that can be updated. Will be grabbing this box and checking out your website to learn about the upgrades.
Roku ultra is worth the money. Has a USB port, Ethernet and a backlit remote if you get the 2024 version. Plus the remote is rechargeable. On the Roku app it has an option for private listening so you can listen to shows through your headphones.
This was you best reviews..I felt the humor about the stick..I bought some..oh boy...this was great.. Send the sticks to that city in the states that did IPTV service..Any updates on them
I got one of these(Onn 4k) and installed but the problem is when the TV is off and I ask question like "Hey Google how is the weather today?" the speaker of the TV box does not respond! I am sure that the TV box gets my question and it is answering but the voice is going to TV through HDMI cable even though the TV is off! Then when I disconnect the HDMI cable from TV and try again I get the answer from TV Box speaker! I don't know what is wrong but while the HDMI Cable is connected to TV and TV is turned off I can not hear any answer from my Google! Any suggestions will be highly appreciated to solve this problem!
Anyone having issues with the $20 box no putting sounds through external speakers(home theater)? Mine sometimes put the sound to the tv , sometimes at the home theater and sometimes none of them.
Hey Mate🙋🏻♂️ I have the regular Onn TV 4K and sometimes is little slow when I’m switching Apps. Do you think the Onn 4k pro will be faster. Should I upgrade? @UGT
The two boxes are fantastic. However if you have a 4K TV with Dolby Vision and Atmos audio then the Onn. Pro 4K is the better option. Though if you don't watch much Dolby Vision content or have Atmos. Then the $20 model is fine. Though it can display all content through Dolby Vision IQ picture setting. If that has a positive effect on picture quality or not. Shouldn't be commended on how well the $20 box was designed if the performance is about even? If you need Ethernet and a usb port the $50 model might be better since you'd need a hub and beefier power adapter for the $20 model. We'll say $20 for the hub and $10 for the power brick. Not including the usb cable. Would make it around the same price. These are still great Google TV devices and even the Android TV box still gets updates. I think it got an OS update as well?
I purchase the onn 4k stream box for $19.00 can I use the adapter for my fire stick to go hardwire so what I did was I use that adapter for my fire stick and it works with no problem so what I did was I use that and for third-party apps I already know how to do that and for DefSquid and there's a trick to do that and I know the trick to make it work and how you make it work is in the settings of the app
4:54 you don't travel very much, do you? Some of us would just like to plug it in a tv and watch our contents on crappy tvs they offer in Airbnb's and budget hotels.
So it's "Boujee" to have all the options the competition is offering at only $50? I was in agreement with you until you started talking out your corn hole.

The really BIG feature of the Pro box is the USB input that allows you to view your own content from a flash drive. The backlit remote is also cool.
the wire also let's you stream videos from your PC with less bullshit too.
Competely agree.
I have the regular Onn 4k and that thing is a beast for its price and size.

I have the 4K $19.99 and the 4K $49.99. I like them both.😊

Great comparison. I think you’re right. The $20 version is such a good value.
At 2:03, can you leave the link or how to find that data please?

OK...we are stuck on Android 12 ...box should last like 5 years.....What Version Android will be and will APPs still be compatible with Android 12?
I am shocked & grateful to see this comparison video - exactly what I was looking for...THX!!!
Can you please tell me the best power adapter to use this box in the uk thanks
Thanks for the great info you put out to the community. What do you think about the DQ06 ATV Mini TV Stick ?
can't say I have tried it but will look into it!!
Best answer: wait until the ONN $50 device goes on sale :) . Hopefully $40 on Black Friday. Might as well get the newest one in my opinion.
It's currently down to $39 if you order it online, which is what I did recently. Haven't set it up yet, though.
@CanItAlready yesssss. Thank you.

@UGT
You didn't mention that the Onn 4k pro has a speaker built in as well. Pretty cool feature for such a cheap box.
Let me ask you when you watching videos on the pro does the sound output to the speaker built-in?
I bet you can set it to output to that if you want to in the options.
Good review. i mostly agree, but that extra storage and ram makes a bigger difference than the specs sheet my suggest

can we install any app besides google playstore on 2023 model (the on the left)?
yes of course
I have all 3 I sell fully loaded and there great.
when i see this"fully loaded" thing,do you mean you put eye pea tee vee on it?
alas, they do sell these at Walmart Canada. 🙁
I'm thinking about dropping Ethernet down to my TV, so the pro seems nice
thanks for the info it really helped.
Are these finally available in Canada???
not yet...
they need to update the pro by removing the speaker and updating the ethernet port to 3.0 then it's perfect
4:54 you don't travel very much, do you? Some of us would just like to plug it in a tv and watch our contents on crappy tvs they offer in Airbnb's and budget hotels.
I heard that their remote is laggy
Dude this brand is pronounced like the word "on". Not O-N-N.
ONN,ONN,ONN,ONN,ONN,
onn box not pro is the best value by far
Walmart brand and android make good sense: cheap and buggy! 😂
haha these ones actually aren't bad
The music is too loud it's annoying
So it's "Boujee" to have all the options the competition is offering at only $50? I was in agreement with you until you started talking out your corn hole.
Background music is annoying me!
Disliked and immediately stopped for O N M box. Gtfo with that lmao
huh
None. As the nearest Walmart is across the ocean.
Have you tried swimming there
None!
in the UK we are being ripped of it is thirty pound dearer than in the in the US.
