Although I wouldn’t recommend Dragon Ball as a starter anime, it’s a fantastic starter manga. It’s a perfect mix of a non-complex story with awesome are and paneling that will make you understand how action can work really well on a page. My starter anime is the original Mobile Suit Gundam. I mean it’s old, but it also doesn’t have the typical anime art style that might turn people off, and the characters feel much more real compared to most anime characters. It also has the added benefit of making them an elitist because they would watch a show that not many anime fans have seen.

I've never watched an anime in my life, so i have a few questions .... when i google full metal alchemist i see that there is a normal fullmetal alchemist and one with brotherhood in the title ,a few movies etc , are these important to watch
Brotherhood is more faithful to the manga and has just a more remastered feel. and I'm pretty sure the movies aren't canon so watch them if you would like but Brotherhood has the full complete story
ive watched countless hours of anime and spent YEARS searching the web for a list to start my good friend tiller allen on anime and this list.... this list here. has concluded my search. I can now rest. First thing im doing to relax is rewatch highschool dxd !

God Of High School, Tower Of God, Dr. Stone, Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress, etc. heck, even Welcome To Demon School, Another, or The Lost Village! Just not Puella Magica. We’re not trying to scar anyone for life lol Then we can move onto a second one like Haikyuu, The Promised Neverland, Black Clover, Hunter X Hunter, Demon Slayer, etc. And their third one can be a bigger series like Naruto, Fairy Tail, One Piece, etc. I always get taken aback whenever I hear anime recommendations for beginners and the series with ~200+ episodes are listed first. Like yes, they’re amazing. But someone that’s never watched this genre before might be intimidated. Gotta start off slow and work their way into the big hitters 👍
I would substitute Erased with Stein's Gate due to a better ending, MHA is same category as Naruto so if you won't recommend Naruto same with MHA. Substitute Blue Lock with Haikyu as starter sports anime (some parts of the animation in Blue lock is cringe, manga though is so effin awesome). The rest I agree with, good list.
tbh in my opinion bleach is good for one of the first anime to watch seeing how good the show is, it might not be the best to watch as the first anime consider the length of the series but if u cut out the fillers its really great anime to start off
