  • We got stuck in the mud at Mille Lacs Off Road Park in Minnesota. Here's the story, how we got out, and what gear we made use of. Most importantly, know how to use this gear! Here's a great resource book:

I'll also mention how tough the CBI front bumper really is. The recovery points held strong with an excavator tugging on them. Absolutely crazy. If you're looking for a great bumper, check out CBI.

Good tips. Slightly off topic question. Who makes the case on your roof rack, Pelican, Harbor Freight...? I was talking to an overland at Home Depot a few weeks ago. He said his was from Harbor Freight. He also said he keeps an ax, shovel etc in it. I've seen several over landers with a case like that on their roof racks.

Great timing! An upcoming video I’m working on will be about the case and how I’m mounting it. I wanted to try it on the roof a bit before doing a video on it. It’s a Pelican case that’s over a decade old. There are plenty of great cases out there, but I’m a big fan of Pelican!

@@sunroomstudios8487 I've always heard great things about Pelican, but I was hoping yours was Harbor Freight. The over lander I spoke with said HFs was actually thicker material than Pelican.
I'll look forward to your Pelican case video.
