What's with the Wool Blanket?

So what's with the wool blanket? I replaced my old cotton blanket with a King sized Wool Blanket. Don't worry, it's not itchy. It's mold and mildew resistant, naturally fire retardant, and doesn't attract dust mites or other allergens. Wool blankets were standard military issue, dating back to the Revolutionary War, because they are durable and insulate, even when wet. Do you have a wool blanket in your vehicle?

Wow, nice size of that blanket. It’s hard to get a hold of a size like that where I am from… but I love wool blankets, I own a few, and yes, I have one in the car I have for work .. just in case… my favorite one right now is a one in merinowool, it’s so lovely soft and thick and little lighter than my others in the same size and thickness.. wool blankets and just so nice. Ha ha.

I've been looking for a used wool blanket. The older ones are better to me. All worn in but not worn out! Haven't found the right one yet. Looked at some from Amazon but they have a nasty chemical smell.

I’ve been getting Ektos brand wool blankets from Amazon. They don’t have a bad smell, and are great for the price. Older high quality blankets in good shape are superior, but harder to find
