- In this part 2 of our Ledger Performance Series, Mike heads over to Chris' shop to install an MCX Express 210 kit on the new 900r along with his personal clutching work. Chris is always a wealth of knowledge when it comes to sleds and after the install, they head out for some testing and fun in some pretty heavy snowfall! The sled is an absolute animal with this additional power!

The excitement about the snow coming down at the start of the video is just sad now. Hasn’t snowed more than a cm here and there since Jan 17th here in North Bay.

Very nice! I had my 900 ACE Renegade reflashed with a clutch kit. It’s suppose to be around 195 HP now. I only rode it a short distance because the lack of snow. It hits maximum rpm very fast so I am sure it will be very impressive when I get enough snow to actually try it out.

Great video….you addicts resolve the connectivity issue with the 10.25 screen and your phone with brpGO…?? I’m experiencing the exact same issue..works for 2-15mins and then says has a connectivity issue.

Does the MCX have the two step launch control?
I realize power == fuel, will the fuel mileage decrease under normal part throttle riding??
It does not have 2 step launch control. Interestingly enough, it's no harder on fuel either. We were very close in fill ups this past week - maybe 1 litre more at times and then other times we were same. The reason Chris explained is because if you are cruising, you aren't throttling as hard to make it go the same speed so it could potentially be better on fuel. Of course, if you are really into it - it will probably drink a bit more but that's what we have found. Cheers, Mike

It's about $3K CAD installed and that includes clutching. The best upgrade I've ever done to any sled. Cheers, Mike
