venomous fang, for example, has innate fetid poison and can be infused. it's the most potent claw, while raptors talons has style. sadly the talons jump attack bonus doesn't work as of 1.05

I would like to see you use Erdsteel Daggers as their innate faith scaling is applied to physical damage but here's the fun part. . . When infused with a faith scaling infusion (like sacred or flame art) your faith stat will scale both physical AND elemental damage. This allows you to achieve a pretty good AR for a dagger. Also I'd love to see some more love for quickstep. Some lesser known tech is that if you quickstep left, right, or backwards you can follow up with the backstep attack instead of the rolling attack. Which is coincidentally really effective with dual daggers since the backstep attack is really good.
So when a weapon says "scales with *affinity X"* it means the physical damage is calculated as Strength, Dexterity, *and* affinity X alongside whatever additional affinity you could choose to run it with? E.i. Erdsteel Dagger for Blood = Strength, Dex, Faith for Physical damage + Arcane for affinity damage?

I'd strongly recommend you grab this weapon if you make a Faith build. You will start running into a lot of bosses that are high resistant to Holy damage, and this spear does fire and pierce damage in addition to bleed buildup. It is easy to meet the stat requirements to use and has the same flexible C/C/B scaling pattern from Blasphemous Blade that will work on just about any Faith build. If you meet the stat requirements for the Blasphemous Blade, and you definitely want to do that because that thing is one of the best weapons in Elden Ring, you can also use this spear. A flame art Spiked Spear or Cross-Naginata could easily work as a second spear if you want to powerstance and get fast bleed buildup unless someone wants to drop another IG for you.

Chase I want to say that you’ve helped me discover a new favorite weapon. I immediately went and grabbed the vulgar militia saw as soon as I saw you use it because I love halberds and it kinda fit my build perfectly. I don’t use it optimally but my strength/faith build (mostly strength) lets me buff it with blood flame blade for 95 bleed on right hand. It’s pretty neat.

Hey Chase the spear talisman isn’t as great as it usually is with split damage weapons because only thrust damage is increased on counter hits, not the elemental.
This weapon is awesome, idk why I love the trident looking weapons soo much. Great showcase! That last invasion was hilarious. Also I think the giants red braid would be cool to see, as well as the falling star beast jaw!.

Have you ever used the miquellan knight's sword? Not sure how good it is, but recently found out that it has a really cool unique R2 that supposedly combos if you follow it up with an R1.
Favorite straight sword in the game. You can gap close with the charge heavy. It feels like an extra ash of war to be honest. The buff and sacred blade is a nice ash to handle distance and buff yourself about 80 points higher. People say it’s bad scaling ya ya. But it’s still very strong maxed out. Never had a problem with damage output from it
Those at the end is what you call "two friends just wanting to trade some items". You could tell by them virginingly standing around waiting for you to jump of or massacre them, bet the attacks just were a "do it already!"
That last invasion MUST have been dual boxing his own alt for lvls that was just crazy behaviour. Nice touch sending him off the cliff with the almost useless ash of war haha.

You can equip one of the 0 weight seals and use it for your bestial vitality. Bestial vitality gains no benefits from scaling, and you can still use talismans if you do not meet their requirements (as long as you meet the 12 faith requirement to use the incantation). This will cut down on your hotswap time to cast your regen buff on the longer invasions, especially with builds like this where you don't need the faith talisman to reach 12.
You seem to have missed that you can still use seals that you do not meet the requirements for to cast spells. You only incur a scaling penalty, which is no issue for spells not affected by scaling (such as bestial vitality).
I'm pretty sure the spear talisman only works when you counterattack with the shield block counter attack move...which Chase never uses shields so it doesn't help.
I feel like this is one of those silly needlessly somber weapons that falls a bit short due to it being somber for no reason. FromSoft really likes creating cool and interesting weapons, and then taking away any amount of uniqueness they could acquire by forcing somber on it and stripping it of having potential. A few times, I’ve powerstanced this weapon and it’s been great! I’m not really that good at pvp so in the hands of someone much better it’s probably even more amazing :D

I love how the first invasion was against an aggressive, hyper-aggro experienced pvper, and the last invasion was basically just bullying some clueless newbies. Elden Ring's lack of matchmaking is practically a feature.
Sicne there’s no ranking similar to other souls games it provides with the really fun randomness of invasions, sometimes I get bodied by a gank and other times it’s 2 clueless friends just having fun

You dont want to fight the boss that you get this weapon from, please use your weekend on something else.

It has some of the worst scaling in the game. Only gets D scaling at max level. Ash of war is also pretty mediocre
