Entertaining invasions. Chase getting blown off the tree and dying in the Deeproot. Running into someone rocking the Wall build and exposing it pretty well to the surprise of no one. The last one had me laughing though. Closing by punishing the hell of that wizard was the cherry on top.
It would be interesting to see how chase would deal with the Wall.
The raptor of the mist moonveil counter to kill the wizard was great too.

At the beginning of Chase's videos I think to myself:

I did a Friede build with two frost scythes and hoarfrost stomp. It was a ton of fun! Great video and I hope you have a great day :)
Could also use Loretta’s slash on the other one and swap between the two for both ashes!
Loving the weapon showcases! I think you should do a shield showcase. Maybe a bleed bash build? Would also love to see THE WALL. Keep up the good work!

Dang, I'm only now just realizing how bad this 2 minute disconnect bug is. For the most part, it's the good fights that run long, since only challenging players can survive against Chase for 2 minutes. But with this bug, the better the fight, the greater the danger of having it end prematurely. I hope FromSoft is working on a fix!!!
Chase are you going to be showcasing spells/incantations after weapons? I think that would be a cool showcase
Spells/Incants would need a different format, since most individual spells are simply not viable and versatile enough for a full showcase of their own.
I assume it would be similar to his wizard streams where he just talks about the build a little beforehand and compiles highlights for TH-cam

I just noticed, the first 2 scythe r1 moveset is the same as the first 2 r1 moveset of the God slayer greatsword.
Kinda funny and cool that a sword that kills gods has the same moveset as a scythe

lesser known fact about bleed: While the occult infusion gives a higher arcane scaling the blood infusion gives higher bleed damage when used on weapons that have innate bleed.
Normal bleed: 100+15%, damage
Innate bleed + Bleed infusion: 200+15%hp, damage

I loved the spell blade guys mixup with the adulas moon blade into carian piercer. Seems like a good combo if they roll into adulas

I think the duel with SpellBladeMaster might be one of my favourites from the weapon showcases so far. A fairly close fight, and very nice use of the carian sorceries. Moonblade as a setup for piercer is very dramatic and satisfying to watch

I recommend the Dragon King's Crag blade, I find it's really funny PVP. It's actually water can be OP too, charge it then you chase after your enemies in thunder cloud form or if you tap it it enters the form for a second then comes right out and can be a great fake out
Open petition for CTB: The next time he's in an invasion like the last one in Sol, with a wizard on the ropes, he removes his weapons and kills with his fist to assert dominance.
Love the scythes. I feel like pew-wizards are the *one* thing that makes Chase turn a little malicious, lol.

I used to main the Corvian Scythe in DS3 and absolutely loved it! It shredded bosses and mobs alike. Found a new love though... the Grave Scythe! B-But the base Scythe is neat, too! It's charged heavy is pretty cool.

How do you feel the two scythes perform compared to each other?
@@Feanor1988bis Between Corian and Grave? They both deal massive damage for their weapon type, but the Grave feels slightly slower.
Between the base scythe and Grave? They're basically the same. The only differences other than appearance (Grave looks wicked) is damage (Grave has the highest AR of all scythes) and the base has the unique charged heavy.
@@Sentient_Eagle upgrading both normal and grave further, I've noticed that the scythe leans a bit towards dex, while grave scythe more towards strength. At least on cold infusion.

That tree mishap is hilarious to me. Doesn't die to PCs. Dies to npc cc + falling damage. CC and Gravity are truly the most op weapons.

out of all of these showcases which weapon if any has been the most fun for you? And which one has felt the most over-powered?
Have you done the Ornamental Straight Sword yet? If not it's an interesting one.
I'm curious to see how the beastclaw great hammer performs in pvp. I'm using it in my beast champion cosplay and it's just fine for PVE, even in spite of it dealing split holy damage. I feel like the ash of war could be achieved in PVP, it's just a bit slow so it would need some setup I imagine.
NGl I was expecting the wizard to pull the plug.
Lightning bolt scythe mainland with off hand clean rot sword is almost unbeatable. Using Dex scaling for lightning damage, lightning/Dex in the flask with jar shard. You can easily net 700 damage on the weapon art which hits soooo often

Hey CTB hope you are having an excellent day, just wanted to let you know that the Yellough Anix tunnel in the Snowfield area is a great spot to farm "Gravel Stones" for the thunderbolt pot!!!
Also I really want to see the steele wire torch with the fire-breathing ash of war. I loved the torch showcase on DS3 and I bet it would be fun on Elden Ring.
Elenoras poleblade is a fun weapon to use in pvp
Which do you think is a more interesting mechanic, the heal tear from Elden Ring or Tears of Denial from ds3?

The reason I got Dark Souls 3 was because of Friede's Great Scythe and I love the Weapon.
Elden Ring has 4 Weapon Types that I love, Curved Swords, Great Curved Swords, Twinblades, and Scythes the Weapon I always looking for in a Game so I can use it.
Does anyone else wish they could parry with the scythes? The criticals are so cool so I've run around with the buckler and the angels wing often enough. Love this series and I was really excited to see the invasions return! Looking forward to more weapon showcases (Ornamental Straight Sword when) but I also will be bugging Chase about using a bow in invasions now as well.
Chase, question. Where do you get all the mimic tears needed for each weapon’s build’s re-spec?

Sometimes, even the simplest weapons will do.
I'm in love with that unique heavy. I know it isn't usable hypothetically but especially off backstabs or ripostes it's an AMAZING wake-up. I mained Corvian Greatscythe in DS3 and I can't help but be attracted to Scythes again in this game. The fact we actually get to use good weapon arts in this game is a MAJOR plus as well!
Also - the jumping heavy is the exact same as the jumping attack it got in DS3, I loved using that as an R1 combo mix-up and I'm happy I get to do the same here!

fun episode. I love invasions pvp. tho fighting pvp tryhards is... hard. Met a dude who predicted all my moves and attacks. after 15 matches and only one win I gave up ;D
