Had a question. It looks like the bridge photo example you have in the video is listed as the Mist-PL, but on your site it lists it as the Everyday filter. Maybe I’m not noticing the difference, but was just wondering which filter that shot specifically was. Thanks in advance!
@@PolarProFilters I am shooting outside at a horse event. Wondering if it will add more contrast when there is dust in the air. As increasing contrast in photoshop takes away some of the dust.
Exciting product. I've watched all the videos and noticed all have subtle greenish/copper-yellow tint. Is that the look produced by the Shortstache filter?
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I just placed a pre-order for the 2 pack. Can't wait to see these combined with my new everyday lens (Canon 24-105mm f/2.8) and the motorcycle portrait series I have coming up.
Hi!🤙🏻 I really like the product and would like to buy it in the near future. However, I wanted to ask if the filter is expected to be available for the Helix Maglock system as well? Thank you!
Does this also work with the X100F? I noticed the omission of the X100T & X100F on the listed support for the Fuji Adapter on the website. I thought they were all the same in the X100 series(?)
Loving these “possible” filters for my setup, unfortunately, you offer none in the sizes that I would need, specifically 43, 46 and 62mm..Any chance these sizes being added to the lineup?
Is it double threaded? How do we protect the filter when we're not using it? Is there a filter cover? Spent the last 30-minutes trying to figure this out. Not explicitly mentioned anywhere.
The Shortstache Helix version is launching really soon, but you can’t place a separate polarizer in front of a VND, it just acts like a VND. We do have something coming up which solved for what you are trying to do here…you are onto something
Anyone knows if the shortsache black mist and polarizer is double threaded? i plan to put PMVND on the front and I am curious if the shortsache has threads on the front
Took my new 1/4 everyday to 2 car shows today and it excelled at producing amazing car shots! Thank you
Yew!
I got super excited when the extra sizes below 67mm were mentioned, but it’s only the one? I would give a kidney for a 55mm filter size LOL
Potentially, feedback received
One of the best you guys have made 👌
Great filter, been using the heavier one and really love the shortstache look and feel!

The bridge shot is from the Everyday filter
Would this work to take dust out of your photos?
can you describe in more detail what you are shooting and where?

Didn’t know and missed the first order. Waiting for the second shipment
Are there any plans to make this a helix mount? I want to buy this but I’m hesitant to wait for a helix mount version…
Yes, you will see them on the page very soon
Do you think it would work well for wildlife/bird photography?
It could, just depends on the look you are going for
Can you put lens cap over it? Also can you put pmvnd over it?
Yes on the lens cap, no on any VNDs. You cant add a 3rd polarizer to the VND (which is made up of two inverted polarizers)
Super cool 😎 where can we get on in New Zealand ??
Right now I think its just going to be available from our website and possibly Digi Direct in AU soon
Will the Mist PL be joining the Helix Maglock line?
Yes we have them in production!
Exciting product. I've watched all the videos and noticed all have subtle greenish/copper-yellow tint. Is that the look produced by the Shortstache filter?
The Filter itself is hyper neutral which gives you a clean base to color grade off of
Do you guys sell any matte box that will work with one of these equipped on the camera?
Not this one specifically, but we have a Recon Mist/PL/VND coming up soon
Good review Jeff. I have tried to preorder the Everyday Filter but your site will not let me.
Can you shoot us an email so we can help trouble shoot? Jeff.overall@polarprofilters.com

Sick, look forward to getting em to you asap!
So is the Everyday 1/4 filter also a polarizer?
Yes it is
@@PolarProFilters ….. ordered & received!!
This seems like a great set to have, bummed that I can’t get it in the 58mm filter size.
We hear ya, we usually act quick on recurring feedback like this
Hi!🤙🏻
I really like the product and would like to buy it in the near future.
However, I wanted to ask if the filter is expected to be available for the Helix Maglock system as well?
Thank you!
Yes it will be, they are in production
will this filter be available in austria too?
Should be at some point after we ship all the first website preorders
Does this also work with the X100F? I noticed the omission of the X100T & X100F on the listed support for the Fuji Adapter on the website. I thought they were all the same in the X100 series(?)
The filter is a 49mm thread. So your X100F will need an adapter, and our adapter will work. Will update the product page
Is it limited to a specific amount of filters?
It’s limited by production capacity right now, we are going to be at 1.5-2 month lead times from when orders are placed for the foreseeable future
Please do a 58mm. Would love to buy all your filters in 58!
There is a 58 coming soon
Loving these “possible” filters for my setup, unfortunately, you offer none in the sizes that I would need, specifically 43, 46 and 62mm..Any chance these sizes being added to the lineup?
Stay tuned, we have some new sizes launching soon

It’s double threaded
Are these usable with 16-24mm? :)
Depends if it has filter threads
6/1/24 B&H Has the Mist 1/2 and Everyday 1/4 In stock mine comes in Tuesday with the new Defender Caps!
Hi i wanted to ask if and how much light you lose compared to just a cpl filter
Same as a polarizer
Can I get these in the UK ?
Yes we ship to the UK from our site. Some of our UK dealers ordered these but not all. www.polarpro.com/support/store-locator/
How do you know which way to turn it off or on?
Look through your viewfinder or on your screen
Is it possible or advised to use and nd filter on top to use for videography? I’m sure there will be corner darkness when stacking.
Yes people do it all the time, usually stacking 2 filters will not vignette too bad
Hey hey, i would like to ask about - fit this filter with Helix vnd filters x McKinnon?
or later you make it on MagLock system?

@@PolarProFilters Roughly how soon is "really soon"? Want to equip our team with these but I'd rather dedicate to Helix than thread on.
What size filter can I use for the canon RF 50mm 1.2 ? Thank you ( Shortstache)
Not sure on that lens but here is how to find your filter size: How to find your Camera Filter Size

Can I get these from inside EU?
Shipping from the US is so expensive. +50% on the price to Sweden
This would be your best best to locate some: www.polarpro.com/support/store-locator/
Filter factor?
1.5 Stops
Can you stack a nd filter (ex. Nd64) with this lens for video or long exposure work?
Yes you can
Anyone knows if the shortsache black mist and polarizer is double threaded? i plan to put PMVND on the front and I am curious if the shortsache has threads on the front
It is double threaded, but you can’t stack a polarizer and a VND together, it will cross polarize
I sit and wait for my pre-order to ship up here in Canada. haha
Excited for you to get it!
Thank you!
