Another full day in Rwanda as we explore one of Africa's Great Lakes, Lake Kivu (The world's 9th deepest lake)! Plus a healthy hike to the top of Napoleon Island where we observed bats, snakes, sacred cows (a must-see!), and more. We finished this portion of our day with a moment of contemplation atop the hill overlooking breathtaking views. Enjoy Lake Kivu Karongi, Kibuye, Rwanda with us!

When I first arrived in Europe, it was hard to see my continent shown in such a poor condition, couldn’t say anything about the beauty of Africa. That was in the 80’s. Then peace came in the 90’s ,went home, my two Irish friends came to see me at home. At that time our home was in Ethiopia. The first thing they asked me was “How come you didn’t tell us that your country is so beautiful?” My response was how can I when what you see on TV is all bad? I am glad it is getting better.
You two are showing the beauty of this continent. I am proud of you. Have fun. I will be visiting Africa in near future and will use you guide❤️
