I think when traveling it is important to prepare well beforehand,plan but be flexible to accommodate the unexpected,have a good car that serviced,have enough money and preferably have a local to show you round.Iam sure it was an unforgettable experience,all the best to you and thanks for posting.

I was a foreman in steal section wen we r building dat hotel , I was under Roko construction company & in lunch time I swim in lake kyivu & sometime on Sunday I go with mi friends to Goma to see how gomma Lok like. But on end I left the job bk to UG then to Norway were am i now. Kagame his a ruthless killer but i gave him one credit to build Rwanda.
What about the people who slaughtered all their neighbors? What about the children who were exterminated because the were from a specific tribe? The same people in Africa and the Western world who like to paint Kagame as this monster are the monsters in disguise. These very people in Africa and the Western world contributed to the demised of millions of Africans on and off the shores of Africa. If Kagame wasn’t as mentally tuff, he would have left Rwanda a long time ago. The people of Rwanda would have been getting porridge and dried beans from the West in the form of aid, while wallow in their misery. People are mentally lost. They sink into the abyss after murderous civil disturbances. Kagame brings growth and pride to his people. Kagame is a general. He came from the army. He did what generals do. Kagame cannot come close to the murderous act of the very people who living side by side with Rwandan victims today. What Kagame did was stood up to the brutality with equal brutality to bring about peace, forgiveness, and growth for his people. He could have fill a bank account from foreign donations in some European bank, I.e Switzerland, and left Rwandans to rot like most dictators do. Kagame had to be the type of general to deal with what was before him if he was to make substantial progress into Rwanda’s foundation. What about the dictator in the Congo who murdered thousands of his people with the White folks backing him. What happened to the Germans who eliminated millions of Namibians, etc. What happen to the Congo today? They are still suffering. Compare them to Rwandans that just came out of genocide little over 30 years. Do you think that if the Congo could have been blessed, I know most of you may say Kagame supporting the fighters in the Congo and causing suffering of the Congolese people, with a leader of Kagame astuteness it would still be struggling in the mess it is today? Look at the hundreds of young babies, 7, 8, 9, 10 years old Congolese children dying in the mines to get some foreign or African man rich. Modern day slavery some might say! You bet that if those children were Rwandans they would have been in school. Rwandans could say that even if the live in the jungle in the poorest of area, Kagame brings health service, education, a means to eat, and assistance with shelter to them. Even though Rwanda is still poor, one can see the progress Kagame have made. The poorest Rwandans are not living in filthy, disease infested areas. They produce enough milk to prevent malnutrition. They are able to grow their own foods. They have security, etc. Kagame with his leadership guiding Rwandans to a prosperous future, say what to his critics. I don’t know the man, but I am looking from outside.

UMUGANDA is stipulated by the law and is conducted every last Saturday of each month from 8am to 10am. After this time, the people will convene to have community discussions and meeting to address their issues till 11am up to 12noon.
It is a very good idea and I wish many countries, especially African countries could keep doing this. We have all adapted western culture and forgotten out own.
