Kobe’s “Pout” Game 7 2006 vs. Suns that LeBron fans keep bringing up is being used without proper facts:
1. Game 6 when Kobe had 50pts the Lakers still lost.. which leads to point 2
2. Phil led Kobe to believe that their best chance to win Game 7 would be to utilize the team more than him take 30+ shots (similar to how they won games 3 & 4)
3. Games 3 & 4 that Lakers Won, Kobe did not lead the team in FGA or PTS.. hard to believe right?
This is why the argument of Kobe not trusting teammates is flawed.
The fact that Kobe didn’t go out Firing in game 7 of that series was because he was following the same gameplan that won them Games 3 & 4 in that series
But the media will never tell you this. Only those that watched the series will know this to be true. At the end of the day they still blew a 3-1 lead but to say Kobe gave up.. is outrageous.

Kobe got the best of everyone challenging them, making them play harder and giving the example. He inspired them and at games as i remember most of the times in his prime he would take only 3-6 shots in the first 2 quarters to get everyone get on rythm. He was a damn good leader.

The biggest misconception about Phil Jackson is that he made Michael jordan better. No he did not, he made his teammates better by implementing the triangle offense. So now it was a system in place for guys to get theirs shot without relying on Jordan to get them shots. Now Jordan could concentrate on scoring and defense. LeBron needs a system where his teammates are going to get the ball in the flow of offense instead of reacting to what LeBron does. That can mess with a shooters ryhtym.
That will never happen because LeBron is not a scorer, a go to guy. He is a PG. Don't let his freaky athleticism get in the way of logic, he is a freak similar to Magic and Oscar, so much so these 3 are the flat-out best PGs that ever played. LeBron is a playmaker, not a scorer. Jesse Miller Exactly. The only way this comes close to happening is if he goes to the Spurs where there is a all time great coach that has the clout to implement a system with Lebron. Right now he has crazy numbers because the ball is in his hands 90% of the time. Everything is a reaction from what Lebron does. That works if you've also got a Wade or Kyrie that doesn't need to be spoon fed... And it doesn't guarantee a win vs the Best of the West. He should go to a team with a system.
