Nick Wright is about to shed tears 😂😂Straight facts u say.. MJ is the only person to ever win DPOY and the scoring title in the same season. And he led the league in steals that same season. Led league in steals 3x, won DPOY, 5 MVPs. And nvr winning against Larry Bird... sure but that was a team with at least 5 HoFers and MJ was alone. And Larry Bird himself after playing against MJ said that he saw *God disguised as Michael Jordan* . MJ didn’t lose for lack of effort. This the same dude who questioned his own coaches and upper management for trying to tank and lose to get good draft picks. He said winning is the point of every game, if we’re not trying to win then why are we playing basketball... he gave everything every single game. LeBron and his ‘load management’ would never fly with MJ.. ever. He nvr cheated the fans out of seeing him play and his greatness. The figure and aura that was Michael Jordan was unlike anything we’ve witnessed. LeBron will never be able to top that
I mean Jordan’s career before Pippin wasn’t great. He kept getting wrecked in the early rounds of the playoffs. I’ll take loses in the finals over loses in the first and second rounds. And I’d bet you a lot of people would agree.
Jordan had a breakdown moment, against the magic when they stole the ball from him and they were saying "45 isn't 23", it wasn't in the finals so it doesn't get attention
agreed, but it ain't quite 8 points, then 17 points, then 21 points in game 4 5 and 6, while scoring an average of 2 points in the 4th quarter. MJ still averaged 31 pts on 48% shooting, that series. Nowhere near as bad as lebron's meltdown. If that's a meltdown for jordan, you just proved why hes the goat. Jordan came back with 17 games left in that season, and was out of shape. Those mistakes he made down the stretch were due to his lack of basketball fitness. Even Nick Anderson said "no 45 ain't no 23, i coudlnt have done that to no 23". Jordan came back the next year 72-10 and three peated

@@skipbayless4375 i'm not saying it was as bad as lebron, but Jordan had a moment too. It's true that the media will always treat jordan like royalty and act like he played only 6 years, i have him as the goat but it's not unachievable for lebron. You said that he came back and three peated, lebron came back from 2011 and won 2 in a row. Also Jordan in the finals when he won he always had a better team, apart from 2011 lebron wasn't supposed to win and surely jordan hasn't faced the competition that lebron faced in the finals.
the fact that the Jazz scored like 54 points in a game is just laughable ... watch the game its not even like the defense was that great they were jagging layups and wide open shots

If you have facts to prove things, cool, we can agree to disagree but bro...you play to win, regardless of the challenge. Maybe the 90s teams should have been better...you know, since you’re trying to get a title.
You jump right to the Finals and talk about competition lmao 🤦🏽♂️ there’s something called the first second and third rounds you need to go thru to get there. LeBron has NVR aced the same competition level that MJ had to face to even get to the Finals. So chalk up LeBrons Finals opponents but skip over the path to get there.. MJ had to face far superior competition to make the Finals. And MJ kept how many All time great players top 50 players from winning a Ring?? Everyone won on LeBron’s watch as CB said.. against LeBron they won, they ate. If you’re going to proclaim yourself as GOAT (which no real superstar would do and they haven’t other than LeBron) then someone of your stature needs to at least win s couple games vs those KD Warriors, don’t get swept twice in the Finals. You don’t lose with that Miami heat team 4-1 to the Spurs in 2014. And you definitely don’t leave and manufacture a big 3 to win rings only to have a historic meltdown to the Mavericks in 2011, probably the worst we’ve seen from a Superstar of his caliber ever.. in his 8th year
@@yourebreakingmyballs4787 lebron went against a dynasty in the Spurs 4 times & a 73 win team in the warriors who added Kd the top 2 best player who didn’t even have to play in the playoffs for them to make the finals & the first year the warriors won the cavs stars all was injured

Those so called facts are misleading. Jordan got out of the first round after Scottie was drafted but Scottie barely played his first couple of years and averaged around 8 points. Duncan won his first title after Jordan retired so did hakeem.
I mean it seems like everything Nick said was true. And he didn’t even mention that during Micheal’s “Dominant Years” when he finally became the legend people believe he is, he DID allow another team to win the finals, unlike what Chris said.
KD and Steph ate...together. WITH KLAY AND DRAYMOND. Kawhi and Tim Duncan ate...together. WITH PARKER AND GINOBLI. Drexler didn't eat...by himself. When he got with Hakeem he won. Barkley didn't eat...alone. Stop it Chris. No context whatsoever.
I think everyone who has their opinion of who the GOAT is isn’t changing their mind, whether it’s Lebron or Jordan. At this point, everything Lebron does is just gonna make it harder for anyone else to join the discussion.
@nabil chowdhury yea but what nick is saying and doing is only because mj fans do that with LeBron but I get what you're saying. Nick has never said those things up until now. Maybe except for the pippen thing. He was just pointing out the double standard.
@AnObviousUsername the reason Lebron's trophycase is much lighter compared to MJ is because of excuses. Valid excuses, but still, same can be applied to almost any player. No I'm not blaming Bron one but for anything besides 2011 (maybe a few other minor instances), but that's just how it is. Let's not forget that Bron also has the luxury to handpick players to play on his team, and very few stars get to do so. Bron's a top 2 player ever undoubtedly but like you said, they worship Jordan but those people like Nick who think Bron is the GOAT do the exact same thing if not even more than those who believe it's Jordan
@@BatmanvsJesus but what Chris was saying was, once Jordan figured out everything he needed he was never losing again nobody in the east or west won. Bron got to the finals but other players still rings lmao not the case for mj

LeBron James didn't win a championship until Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami Heat and Ray Allen .he didn't win one in Cleveland to he got Kyrie Irving and Calvin love. on the team he didn't win another championship until they create the bubble. He hand-picked ad and some of the other players so you see he hand pick recruit all these players on his own and he still not better than Michael. Jordan.
MJ even in the series he’s lost was still the BEST players. Nick pointed out that Bron brought a team with no All Stars to the Finals. Bron got swept by that team and he wasn’t the best player on the floor. The difference is Bron didn’t have to face the Spurs in the first round. MJ faced the Celtics twice in the first round whose won the chip those years and than faced the Pistons in the first round whose won the chip. Imagine if Bron would have faced the Warriors and the Spurs in the first round during his first 7 years with the Cavs. MJ faced these teams his first 3 seasons and still was the BEST player on the court.

Vincent Jackson yeah but MJ never lost a final to a team he was better than, LBJ lost to Dallas in 2011, even though he had 2 all stars, he got outplayed by a 33 year old bench player, which was Jason Terry and lost to the spurs in 5 games, with a 15 point record margin, MJ has never lost a final to a team the bull were better than.

This will forever be my favorite argument on the discussion. In this debate both arguments are forced on aspects outside of rings and fake narratives. Chris saying “Jordan had no weaknesses in his game” is an amazing argument nobody ever says
problem is thought that every point of Nicks either lacks too much context to be credible or is a straight up lie, like how the East (post 1991) had 3x teams (other than the Bulls) with multiple HOF players
Jordan did have weaknesses. He gambled far too often on steals and often left the defender open. He was a poor 3 point shooter even for his era. He didn’t use his passing ability enough because he was an underrated playmaker but he took too many shots. Every player has weaknesses
@@yahiakamel2747 Agreed. There are more weaknesses. MJ didn't trust his teammates to make a shot, so he kept shooting. He also gambled way too much outside the game, which arguably put him out of the league. Also, when claiming that the stage was too big for anyone - that's just an interpretation. When MJ fumbled and turned the ball over against the Magic when they lost, MJ fans simply just ignore that. For some reason, MJ has gotten a series of free passes on his shortcomings. Everyone has weaknesses, MJ fans simply choose to ignore them. I also think that this is a definitional problem. What do people mean when they say "Greatest"? Is it the one with most championship wins? Best win percentage? All-time achievements? How are different achievements weighted against each other? For instance, how do you compare longevity compared to win percentage? If you have a shorter successful career, then it's easier to have a higher win percentage. It's because people are irrational and biased these things get confused, and the debate goes on forever.

People make too much of Jordan's 3-peat. Of the three 3-peats, the common thread was The Great Phil Jackson. Phil proved that the 3-peat success was repeatable, without MJ. Nick makes a great point that Jordan never got far without Pippen. However, Pippen got to the conference finals without MJ, and got success with the Blazers too. When Jordan retired that Bulls team was still great. But when LeBron leaves a team, they don't even make playoffs for years!
the Heat tbf made the playoffs only a year after LeBron left and would’ve made it the year he did leave but Wade and Bosh especially missed 20+ games. Them loss of LeBron didn’t drop them off the map completely
pipin is not better than wade, Bosh, kyrie and Anthony Divis, scotie averaged 20 points and MJ didn’t go and join superteams after Chicago and LBJ east was too weak, coz in 2007 the real finals was in the western conference and Phil Jackson didn’t treepeat twice, after the bulls and Miami still made deep playoff runs After LBJ left and if to say LBJ was in the west, in his early career he won’t make it past the 1st round, Sprur, Lakers, Phoenix, when he didn’t have any help, that’s y 2018 Rockets took warriors to 7 games, and LBJ got swept, and Tim Dunkan, almost swept Lebron in 2014, by the biggest margin, in a final’s history with an average margin of 18 points, b4 he ran back to Cleveland when wade and bosh started declining, b4 the warriors took over.
MJ’s weakness was pretty Obvious, he’s just like every other great player that still needed to have a team built around him And system to be the Cog of. Jordan never was his own system outside of ball hog to death, that’s what it was in Chicago before Jackson and Pippen came to town. Only people that pay attention to the 6 championship runs don’t understand that Jordan was mortal.
that's not a weakness lol... If you want to win you should play within a system....players like Bron and Wilt that decided to be the system never dominated their era...heck Wilt only won when he adjusted his game and played within a system. I'll give Bron credit tho...he's prob the only player to be able to win anything without adjusting his game whatsoever really lol...but it ultimately limited how much he could have won...

Jordan never beat the big three Celtics or the bad boy pistons, and never faced another dynasty level team when he went on his title run.
lol, Lebron formed superteams himself, i have no sympathy for him losing to other superteams. He picked his players. Lebron also had some pathetic eastern conferences
That's because MJ kept teams from being Dynasties by beating them. Two three-peats! You know how hard it is to 3-peat? Even the Warriors failed to do that.

It was lot of waffling Nick made that and u are a LBJ choke fan and not a MJ fan or let alone even an NBA FAN! So let me rebuttal some of them "great points" u thought Nick W did .... 1. MJ a loser without Scottie? MJ played ALONE with 🗑️ teams vs HOF TEAMS that won Championships during the BEAST EAST in the 80's and yet MJ was the best player in the league! 2. Ate at MJ watch? NOBODY ate at MJ watch as that starts with ur 1st Finals apparences until ur last and MJ was from 91-93 (retired in between) 96-98 so thats 2 different 3PEATS! U welcome and stay out of basketball 🏀
Nick was just nit picking. The Eastern Conference was very tough in the 80s, Jordan didn't have the team around him to compete yet. That is what people forget about in these debates; it is a team game. Jordan's ascension to the top was much tougher than what Lebron had to go through. That is another reason why MJ is the GOAT.

I hate the part of Chris’ argument where he says that once Jordan started winning titles, no one won on his watch. Outside of the Lakers (and even they dealt with injuries), which team did Jordan face that was superior to the Bulls in the Finals? Now granted, a big part of the reason the Bulls were better than everyone else is because they had Mike, but other teams don’t stack up. Plus, if we put Jordan in LeBron’s shoes, he doesn’t accomplish what LeBron has. Jordan would’ve beat the Mavs if he was in LeBron’s place, for sure. But Jordan wouldn’t have taken the first or last Cleveland team to the finals. Wouldn’t have made a 3-1 comeback (but it can be debated if that team would’ve been in a 3-1 deficit), he would’ve won the same championships, and lost the same ones (outside of the Mavs one I already excluded). And if LeBron was in Jordan’s place, he would’ve won the same championships, and maybe more because he wouldn’t have retired. So the Finals record argument should really die because it’s a team sport and while they were both the best players during their eras, they both didn’t face the same level of competition in the Finals
@nabil chowdhury Jordan wouldn’t have been able to carry those same weak teams in a weak conference. The weak east is another, separate conversation. I was only talking about one part of Chris’ argument
People could assert that Michael Jordan could still play at a similar level during the 1994-1995 season as opposed to the subjective argument that he was not ready to play high level basketball because his body did not meet his previous basketball standards since he played baseball the year prior. For example, Michael Jordan’s best scoring game was a 55-point performance during the 1994-1995 regular season. His best scoring game in the Chicago Bulls’ historic 1995-1996 regular season was a 53-point game. People can assert that he played at a similar rate in both years because of this. His team loss to the Orlando Magic in six games in 1994-1995 playoffs but for some reason media members don’t criticize him for melting down during that series. His numbers may have not been similar because the Magic played well enough to prevent that from happening. Correct me if I’m wrong but the NBA Finals is the biggest stage. It would be worse to melt down in prior series. Him melting down during the Eastern Conference Semifinals is worse compared to LeBron James melting down during the 2010-2011 NBA Finals. This is just one instance of the media controlling the narrative in Jordan’s favor. Media members like Broussard can’t say, “When you are debating the GOAT, you nitpick” and don’t nitpick other player’s careers other than Jordan’s.
How did Michael have a meltdown in 1995, when he scored 38, 40, 39, 26, how is that a meltdown? Compared to LBJ that averaged 19 and got outscored by Jason Terry, a bench player, in fact mJ averaged more points than shaq in that 1995 conference semifinals, thats y no1 talks about it, coz it’s not a meltdown just because they lost and he came back and swept them in 1996, and blew them out.
The Celtics ate, The Lakers ate, the pistons ate, Houston ate, he couldn't even beat Celtics even a single game in the playoffs, maybe Chris doesn't remember that 😂

If Lebron goes 7-6 then he’s above Jordan for me because that longevity for Bron will beat Jordan’s case. It is not Bron’s fault that Jordan didn’t take care of his body and wasn’t that great anymore when he got to Washington. Also if Lebron gets up to Kareem as the highest point scorer of all time, this will extremely help his case too alongside with 7-6. Top 5 for now still: 1.) Jordan 2.) Bron 3.) Kareem 4.) Magic 5.) Russel
For me, people should have recognized Bron's greatness when KD had to go for the super team of all superteams just to overcome Bron. Two MVPs, two of the greatest shooters ever and so many HoFers just to beat Bron. It's mad to me that we ignore this. MJ literally had the best player in his position as his number 2. Not even talking about how they had to recruit Rodman to get past the pistons. And then when they say MJ never cracked under the pressure? He retired. He took a break. I understand that his father passed but it wasn't just that. The pressure MJ faced being the face of the league and its greatest star was a lot. He caved and took a break. Bron has faced the most scrutiny any athlete ever has and has kept going. I don't care who you have as your GOAT but let's have a honest debate. Not this nonsense
Rodman was still playing for Detroit, when they got swept my Michael in 1991 conference finals, he didn’t join the bulls untill 1996 and LBJ also had to recruit Wade and bosh to beat the big 3 Celtics and when Rodman joined the bulls, he was past his prime only averaging 5 points, but he was a good rebounder and Scottie pipin never made the finals after without MJ, even after MJ retired and MJ beat more 60 win teams in the players more than any other player in history and. Most of LBJ teammates were better than scotie Pippin.

I swear even THE BIG IF Lebron ended his career with 7 rings. MJ fans will say Lebron got it easy and MJ is the GOAT. I can see this is happening after they were bashing Lebron for having lesser rings in the past lmao
98'finals pippen scored 8 points. Jordan put up 45 points, stole the ball, hit the game winner. Seems to me he did it without him. Rewind back to the 98' regular season Pippen was injured for 48 games, MJ led the bulls to the playoffs by going 36-12 without him. Rewind back to pippens 1st two seasons where he averaged 8 points per game and was a bench warmer. Yes MJ was 1-9 "without pippen", but a solo MJ went against the 67 win celtics and the bad boy pistons. Lebron couldn't even make the playoffs his first two years.
Lack context again. Jordan’s Bulls were under 500 when they made the playoffs both his first two years. Lebron got the Cavs over 500 by year 2. He missed the playoffs because it was a little tougher to make the playoffs in those years than it was in Jordan’s first two years.

In that "breakdown momente" he averaged 31p - 6r - 4a on 48%fg, is not like he averaged 17ppg or shot 35%fg like lebron did in 2007 and 2011.

MJ also has the weakness that he burns out easily. He also can’t carry a team without a HOF coach.

when nick anderson stole the ball from mj in the playoffs isnt consider a meltdown?
nope because jordan average 31p-6r-4a on 48%fg, he did not average 18ppg or shot 35%fg like the other guy.
kind of, but it ain't quite 8 points, then 17 points, then 21 points in game 4 5 and 6, while scoring an average of 2 points in the 4th quarter. MJ still averaged 31 pts on 48% shooting, that series. Nowhere near as bad as lebron's meltdown. If that's a meltdown for jordan, you just proved why hes the goat
@@skipbayless4375 context. facts are jordan choked. ppl act like jordan never choked
@@devdagoat2574 I ain't saying he choked, but there are levels to choking. Jordan choked on a grain of rice, Lebron choked on a cucumber in 2011. Jordan came back near the end of the season to help a 23-25 bulls team. jordan was out of shape and led the team to 24-11 when he came back. The year after the team went 72-10.

If LBj would had lost there is no goat convo.... if he wins, oh i don't matter. Lmao. Haters will always hate. LBJ is BY FAR a better all around player than MJ. As the stats indicate. Case freaking closed
@nabil chowdhury well. Stats indicate that. More points. Rebounds. Assists. 3s. Etc. Only stat MJ is better at is free throws. Lebron still has 3 seasons left, by then , he will be ahead by 8k points. 6k rebounds. 6 k assists. And a shitload more 3s, blocks and steals. . So yeah. By far
MJ HAS 0 triple doubles in the finals how is he better all around than LBJ who has 11!!

@@nickyborda3986 stats are overrated!
So Bron went from arguably 6-8 to now being 5th. Oh okay
Pippen did nothing for the Blazers. And Cavs stripped down the whole roster after Lebron left the 1st time. Get your facts together bro.
pipin is not better than wade, Bosh, kyrie and Anthony Divis, scotie averaged 20 points and MJ didn’t go and join superteams after Chicago and LBJ east was too weak, coz in 2007 the real finals was in the western conference and Phil Jackson didn’t treepeat twice, after the bulls and Miami still made deep playoff runs After LBJ left and if to say LBJ was in the west, in his early career he won’t make it past the 1st round, Sprur, Lakers, Phoenix, when he didn’t have any help, that’s y 2018 Rockets took warriors to 7 games, and LBJ got swept, and Tim Dunkan, almost swept Lebron in 2014, by the biggest margin, in a final’s history with an average margin of 18 points, b4 he ran back to Cleveland when wade and bosh started declining, b4 the warriors took over.

@@futurekillerful agreed but LeBron has that over any player in history. And also u can't say they didn't dominate their eras. Because they did. Though sometimes it is to his detriment.

@nabil chowdhury yeah but guys literally had to be together to eat. Jordan beat 1-2 star teams

Chris Broussard..I'd say you got bodied with those facts about m.j...what's funny is that Jordan dod play more than 6 years in the league tho
But he won more games
Lack context again. Jordan’s Bulls were under 500 when they made the playoffs both his first two years. Lebron got the Cavs over 500 by year 2. He missed the playoffs because it was a little tougher to make the playoffs in those years than it was in Jordan’s first two years.
For someone being the goat and couldn’t win a playoff game against bird doesn’t look good to me. Not game not a game maybe he needed more practice.
Exactly
yeah, good argument. but once he got his first chip, he couldn't LOSE in the NBA FINALS. it wasn't bron's fault he had loses in the NBA FINALS. losing in the finals doesn't look good too.
@@ianneelcamel5954 LBJ got BRONZE at the world stage with our BEST. His whole career was always about teaming up and quitting and bailing, like AD did to the Pelicans.
mogtrader8 he has two gold medals with that bronze medal🤣🤣🤣
@@thedailyidiot4817 Exactly, he making excuses about team mates and he got Bronze at international play. He aint win no dunk contest, nor hit any big time game winners. People just delusional to even compare. Been on record that MJ saw challengers at his time and went out and beat them.
Nick Wright just killed it!
Nick Wrong is a pathetic excuse for an analyst
How ages from 16 to 34 going say Jordan the 🐐 😂 they never even really seen him play. I’m 32 and don’t remember Jordan playing before 95
Nick "The Goat" Wight
11:26 when lechock's team hoping to superteams comes out nick's voice cracks lmaooooooooooo
Chris really saying LeBron dominated the ball more than Jordan lmaoooo
Look at their usage rates.
