When they start adding other nations and factions that's when custom made scenarios will get interesting. US and Russia are good factions to have but variety in these sorts of games is always a good thing. I can see it now, Challenger 3's fighting T-14 Armatas.
I honestly can't wait to see that stuff, there's a lot of nations they could add, I do hope that the scenario editor will let people edit maps too, at least existing ones. Could really see some huge custom missions, campaigns even!
Literally not gonna happen, game will launch barebones and be forgotten about within a year. They can barely finish USA/Russia after like 5 years of development and other factions just wouldn't even work in the game against these two superpowers.

All those planes are 747s, which have rear doors, so they can be boarded if the plane reverses into the terminal. Most other planes also have a rear door. It's not uncommon.
I hope someday someone does a true strategy game like Combat Mission or Gravitieam Tactics with these graphics. We already have three other cookie cutter games like this.
Agreed. Combat Mission is great but the engine's age is showing nowadays. It's also incredibly clunky and cell based for movement. Sadly I think the audience just isn't there to make it worth it.

They recently had a closed beta for the campaign, which indicates they have added a lot more to it since the last we saw of the campaign, but unfortunately as it was a closed beta, anyone who participated is under a NDA so we won't hear anything about it.

@@austinevs I'm torn, on one hand I typically don't like PVP in most games, on the other hand I love unique games and this fits the bill. I do still play some pvp dedicated games such as Rocket League simply because it's unique and fun, but I like to relax and take time to plan my strategies in RTS games.... even C&C I never played much pvp back in the day and I played those games enough to have every word of the cutscenes burned to memory lol.
@ I think the good part of this game is the pvp. For me the game was easy to understand and the PvP element for once felt refreshing every match. Where I usually like pve, I feel that pve in this game will be too easy to learn the AI. Hope I’m wrong. I’m always down to comp stomp
you need to keep between realism and the game, because it will become difficult and boring in the case of realism, and accordingly unbalanced. I also don't like that cluster munitions do not damage infantry
They could easily add a third faction. Ukraine. With some russian/us units, differents skins and names it would work perfectly. Cant wait to put my hands on the editor tho. Loving the CBT so far
They'd need to add Britain, Poland, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, and France first. Ukraine really is a melting pot of Western and Eastern army vehicles right now.

You generally shouldn't, considering the publisher can just decide to remove your access to the game on a whim.
