I really enjoyed the single player stuff in the last test. Multiplayer is actually well designed, but I've only played a few RTS games in my 40 years of gaming so I kind of suck against other players. I definitely want to see more single player stuff and the mods are going to be amazing.
I will definitely be making marine/airborne decks for both sides, the combination of quick airdrops at the start of the match and air/helicopter support is my favourite playstyle from the last open beta
the black berets art have an-94, I really want to know how they will implement then if gonna have the hyper burst or it's gonna be just a better ak, the naval units have some interesting obscure weapons really enjoy their selection
I know this is very very early but will there be modding support somewhere down the line? Also, I will strap rockets to every helicopter and plane because why not.
I vaguely remember them mentioning mod support for the game. In the discord there are A LOT of people talking about stuff they want to add. they have a whole forum dedicated to nations equipment etc on the discord. Idk if it would be on launch but I am pretty certain they will add mod support eventually.
I just double checked on the discord, yes they do plan to add modding but they haven't decided on how far they want the game to be moddable yet. From a development standpoint I can see why you would be hesitant because they want to add DLCs that include new armies. Players modding that in would kinda diminish that. If I had to guess though, they probably will allow full modding of the game eventually
gonna probably do armored/marine to start off with. might switch to marine/airborne since helis were really fun to use in last open beta. tanks didnt feel that good in it last time.
It's a BMP3 with Bumerang module and reactive armor. Pretty sure the only existing version is a scale mock up that was shown on one of the Army exhibitions
@@crni_bombarder8352 Okay, my bad. I dug deeper and MBP3 B19 actually exist. But why would they change the best part about the vehicle is another question
What pissed me off was the amount of unrealistic units on the russian side, like the 2S38 or this fancy pants BTR that is only in a prototype stage, while the US used M60A3s.
@@chrunkel they are realistic, since they exist. What’s wrong? How do you know, maybe in a few years there will be more of them? This game features prototypes. Live with it and stop whining
The M60A3 could very well be pushed into a direct fire support role just like Ukraine and Russia are doing with their older cold war tanks (and it's not America's only tank in game), and both sides have prototype units, America getting the 120mm M8 for example. It's a video game centered around a fictional conflict, it's in it's best interests to include prototypes to add more interesting units in games.
Define realistic then. Cause if we're going to point fingers, I can name more than a few 'unrealistic' units on the US side. Comanche heli for example which was leaked from the WASD event. And as far as I can tell there are more 2S38's than there are Comanches.
I'm still not holding my breath for this game. I was real excited for Regiments too. But that was a boring game that substituted actual fun gameplay with just weird hokey AI spawning to make up for the lack of depth and actual fun missions. On the flip side, this game looks way too complicated for anyone other than a diehard-sweaty-competitive-pvp type of gamer to enjoy. More complicated than Wargame RD was. I'm skeptical about how fun this will actually be for the majority of the less diehard gamer types.
so i spent much of the day yesterday checking out the game but...still havent managed to play. why? because the community is the most elitist ive ever seen and if you didnt have a 1700 rating to start they will kick you all day long. never such a bad community before. this is on a completely nother level. i hope you all have a really bad day.

Desperately need a PVE beta. I’ll be really disappointed if there is only one linear campaign mode when there is clearly so much potential for more
