    I recently sold about 5,000 junk wax era baseball cards. But full disclosure on the fact that they had already been picked through. I wouldn't do that to someone without letting them know. He bought them as a starter for his grandkids. $30, hardly a fortune.

    Hey Andrew, buying in bulk is the way to go. I bought a couple collections back to back and filled up 3 storage units in the process. I have the most fun going through boxes of stuff from them and finding out how they organize stuff in boxes. Many times I have been digging through a box that seemingly was all commons and then coming across a HOF rookie card that is hundreds of dollars. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

      @@timothyrottinghaus3443 Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, eBay are some of the typical online platforms. A sports card store will usually give you pennies on the dollar. And I love vintage and can tell you 50-70's generally sells quickly.

    How often do you go look at a collection just to find out that it’s all base commons from the late 80’s-early 90’s junk wax era with most good cards (stars, HOF’s, good rookies) having already been picked out of them?

      Check flea markets and flea malls. Also, card shows are a good place to find folks who have bulk, make connections

    Jeez a good reminder of how much was produced from 1988-1992. This has to be mostly that. Commenting before watching. It’s never this much 50s, 60s and 70s stuff. Never happens.

    I've always thought there is nothing worse than the pieces of crap that pick out all the superstars and rookies from a giant collection and then sell it off without telling the buyer that they have. But now I see there are people that buy and then pick through again and resell it to some other poor bastard through ebay. Definitely worse.

    Most collections I find on FB seem way overpriced. I got one for $500 about as much as what's in your suv.

    This was an awesome video! I would think if I were to sell monster boxes on ebay, the shipping would be outrageous, though. Wouldn't it be better to break things down into lots by brand/year or teams? Thanks!

    • @ApexCardsLLC
      @ApexCardsLLC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best way to do it is to ship them in USPS flat rate large/medium boxes depending on the amount of cards you're selling.

    Do you sell your sports cards on card show. You can sell it 25 cents-1 dollars each. You have a lifetime supply sell sports cards at card shows

    • @ApexCardsLLC
      @ApexCardsLLC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have definitely sold at a few cards shows locally. However, I found them to be a lot of work for the amount of return that I got from the show. Having so many cards makes it difficult to sort out all the valuable cards to correct price and sell at a show. I could set out unsorted cards for $0.25/Card but I might overlook an extremely valuable card that is worth much more than $0.25. I've had the most enjoyment and profit going to card shows and buying to resell on eBay. Much easier!
