Just went and saw them live and man it was explosive. During this song he ran through the crowds singing, hugging, and giving out handshakes. Absolutely metal man.
In Huntsville?
@@wesleymcneese8554 no, Charleston West Virginia.
@@devinchambers7524 Ah, I saw them in Huntsville, Al a few days ago and he did the same stuff. They were awesome!
He did that for the missouri show it was badass
Yep, saw them on the 8th and got to shake his hand, my daughter got a hug, Gavin is as energetic as a teenager, he’s superb
Absolutely brilliant, a brand new song that takes me back to the 90's. I miss those days of music.
Me TOO!!!!
Me too!!!
The video has a VERY '90's feeling to it.
Can't be easy to still be producing this kind of quality after 35 plus years in the world of rock - absolutely awesome material. Love you guys so much, and thanks to everyone who still has the balls to rock these days
That pacific north West lack of sun is crazy at keeping ppl young
Jim I saw BUSH on 10/8/22 in Mansfield Massachusetts & they kicked ass. High energy, Favin did a run around d the entire stadium mid set doors 56 years old I'm 55 do I can totally re respect the energy they have. To be honest they were the best band of the evening and I saw two other bands that shall remain nameless however it wouldn't be too hard to figure out.
Absolutely, lesser men would have run out of ideas and quit a fool, not these gents, the well is deep......................
@@joshuanorris5092 PNW??? They are English, as in from England.
@@erad67 in the 90s yes but the new line up are americans just gav is from England
I don't get tired of listening this song.
Really so. I've just found them out and have heard this song at least 30 times since then.
Me neither
Working on 5 times today lol

nether do i
I know this song isn't from the 90s, but I'm so glad I grew up in the 90s
Thank you for making me feel the 90's again, in the middle of the Coronavirus , I am thinking in grunge, garage, Walkman, cassette, etc
This song doesn't sound 90-ish at all, wdym?
I still watch VHS LOL
I didn’t think I was ever going to hear a song from them that topped “The Sound of Winter,” but god damnit here it is. I’m absolutely in love with this song. Just like The Sound of Winter, this song just takes me somewhere else entirely, and I love where it takes me. Fucking bravo, I can’t wait to listen to the rest of this album.
Indeed it is a fantastic song. Something weird happen on my iPhone yesterday. I got a notification on my phone Bush came out with a new single I listen to it then some how it disappeared and I can’t find it anywhere on my phone😡
True shit dude....sound of winter is a really great song :)
A good new in the middle of the quarantine
Why are y’all all in quarantine just don’t go where some dumbass has the virus easy
EJT0002 what
THIS ONE SHOULD BE A BIG HIT. I HOPE THEY PUT IT ALL OVER THE RADIO
EJT0002 I didn’t I just what lmao
I wanted to like this but it was at 333 and I just couldn't change the perfection so here's a comment without a like but with much love.
This song is straight fire. Bush is a reminder that rock lives!!!!
This song is still on repeat, I literally can't get enough
This part slaps my soul ☆
"The sadness is the emptiness
We're shadows in the rain
She covered me in loneliness
Like flowers on a grave
Like flowers on a grave"

Dear Bush, THIS is the type of music we absolutely love and NEVER skip. Bullet Holes and Flowers On a Grave are absolutely AMAZING! We need more bands making music like you guys in 2020.
You mean bullet holes?
haha, or Bullet Proof Skin! Back to the 2000s.
Reminds me of good old 90's grunge
Bush - still relevant in 2020. Amazing
Pqp salvou meu dia
The best song released so far in the apocalypse.
Memento Mori- Lamb of God
You mean the Trumpocalypse?
Have you not heard Eternal Atake
And there comes the Rolling stones
Have u not listened to Static-X new music then ?
I don't understand why this kind of music has gotten so rare these days.
Sebastian Ohr because everyone lost site of true talent. Instead society would rather raise everyone on one line repeat lyric pop music
Because auto tune killed the real music
pop music, rap and many others
Sadly me too... I can't understand why this gold stuff are so rare...
Because the radio stations killed it. They merged all the stations with shit classic rock and then played the decent songs a million times. This forced people to find new music on their own. That's how I discovered really heavy metalcore bands and have never looked back sense. And there is tons of metalcore out and it's going strong still
#TheKingdom is a very good album. Brings me back to some of their work in the 90's. I will always appreciate their work! Rock lives!
My third BUSH best song, after the hipnotic "The chemical between us" and the surreal "Letting the cables sleep".
They done this so agent 47 finds new cover once the game is locked onto certain individuals it's impossible to escape the game just exposes more things before it traps them 😭😂
Think what you want, but This song has literally saved my life. Im going through a ton.
Thank you.
Helped me too brother, be strong
Yeah it's helping me @ the most lost/lowest point of my life life too..

I honestly had no idea Bush was still around all this time. This is a nice surprise.

how many years it been? i remember their Adrenaline song from XXX. (Vin Diesel movie)

@@hatebreed516 that one was in the sidebar as i was watching this video. i already seen it.
This song is seriously awesome. I can't wait for the whole album to come out. I love Bush.
I dont mind Bush as long as it's not completely out of control.
Man they were so awesome in the 90s. They haven't changed a bit. Will definitely be listening more to some of their recent music. Gavin has always been a incredible artist.
I saw them in 2017 in asbury park NJ. One of the best shows of my life
I'm firmly convinced that Gavin has a painting of himself growing older year by year in his attic.
I'm so happy they're playing music again....I've been listening to them since they came out in 1994! 26 years for my 36 year old self.....jeez....lol
Hell yeah. Still have my cds from when I was "young" lol Im 35 now...still listening!
they've been playing music for years...
Not "all of them". The line-up has changed since they started.
And they haven't been active for all of the years since 94. You can shave 9-years off that.
@@TheLoneVirgo since the comeback they've been releasing albums every 3 years and touring..
@@MephProduction Yes, I know.
They haven't been active from 2001-2010. Then reformed with Gavin's former band after bush "Institute".
2 I think of the original band mates bailed out.
1:31 ... and "I'm in a noose. The animals are on the move. Tell me what you're gonna do. I can see you coming through. Everyone all the time." Gorgeous flow. Welcome back Gavin.
Consistently amazing from the 90's to today. Bush is amazing. Gavin knows the formula that keeps delivering. Awesome
This song has me on cloud 9 and I don't wanna come back
down from this cloud.
I see what you did there...and I like it.
Damn Gavin looks so young healthy still has his thick hair and can sing pretty successfully! Its like a hybrid of new and old rock. They mixed it well
i actually got to see them debut this song at their final show of the Sixteen Stone anniversary tour back on Feb 28th, gavin said " we got a new song, this is the first time we're doin it live, hope you enjoy it " definitely is a great song.
TOTALLY AWESOME!!! THIS IS THE BEST COMEBACK OF ANY BAND IN HISTORY!!! BUSH IS NOW MY FAVORITE BAND!!!
WELL DONE BOYS!!! KEEP THIS DIRECTION GOING!!! I'M SOOOOOOOOOO IMPRESSED!!!
Even Rolling Stone Magazine will finally have to give them the credit they have always deserved!
I definitely agree!
Gavin was on the cover of Rolling Stone in 1996. I only remember that bc I had all the pictures taped to my bedroom wall lol
@@km-ultra 😂😂😂 you had a teenage crush... that's ok :)
@@wagnermh1202 Heck yes, I sure did 🥰 And now 26 years later, I have an almost middle-aged crush lol
Is no one gonna give the music video any praise? It's made to look like the whole thing is done in one long shot.
Love this band!!! As a musician, I'm influenced by songs that ROCK but have simple chord progressions. Gavin and Bush, I love you guys because I could learn 4 songs without too much practice. Cheers to 30 years, despite the time away from 2001-2010
Every decade has its favorite songs but the 90s was a great time to be alive
Omg my heart went RACING when I saw this ...!!!!! Awesome you guys, LOVE LOVE IT!!
Me too lol
Something to make this quarantine better. I’ve been a fan of Bush since I was young they we’re one of the first bands I really got into. I hope to see them this summer with Breaking Benjamin and also Theory Of A Deadman if it still goes on
Chris Denslow I’m hoping for the same thing man. I actually got a meet and greet ticket this year. If I don’t get to go I’m going to be devastated.
the first band i got into was the monkees but i got into bands in modern music like our lady peace
patrick grondines our lady peace is great to
They are One of my favorites, it's hard to choose from the grunge era .
It's not going to. And what happened to Theory? lol Their last album is terrible.
They've come full circle with this album. It's outstanding! They need to be a nominee for Rock album of the year in my opinion.
That song is the most beautiful song they wrote for a very long time. That record sounds like a masterpiece of perfection from A to Z.

I totally agree
I am 65 and love Bush. My kids starting listening to them when they were younger .
I've always loved Bush 💯🔥🔥🔥🎶🎼🎶🎼🎶🎼🎸
Wow, Gavin hasn't overdosed yet like some of the greats.

Plz take me back to the 90's where all the bands were still good.
90s rocked
Lulzswag and people weren’t so fuc*ing fragile 🤘🏼😈🤘🏼
*AMEN* to ppl not being so fragile & sensitive back then! All I've been listening to lately is 90's music. Just wait 20 years when all these younger ppl are saying they wish music was still good like it is today lol 🤨 lol wrong, everything on the radio these days is garbage imo
Yep 90's were great..."Live" was my favorite
They sound great! And I’m so glad they stayed true to their roots. Definitely sounds like Bush. Glad their back!
OMG this album hits from the rooty to the tooty all day long. I like Bush. But this album.....hits sooooo good
It was so fun having you guys here in Salt lake city & thanks for the high five Gavin!
this was the track He sang while running through the crowd.
The man never ages a day I swear!!!! Love how Bush has kept it alive in the 2010s and even now!!!! His voice is priceless and so perfect even now!!!!
All the 90s kids are headbanging to this song 😁
Nah. It's pretty generic.
@@ZiddersRooFurry Yes but is a nice song
It's garbage, Bush hasn't made anything really good since Razorblade Suitcase back in '96.
I don't know about them, but this 90's 20 something was just dancing around my living room!!
COVID needs to get the fuck outta here so I can get my ass to a BUSH concert!!!

I grew up loving his music. Glad to see he is still making some music.
Bush are keepin' it real with 90's sounds.... Keep it up! Love this song too.
Seriously the more I listen to it. It’s definitely one of the best Bush songs. Really hots to heart makes you cry and smile. 😔💔🪦
What I really appreciate about Bush: They stay true to themselves and their roots, they don't change into mainstream like most rockbands do after several years of carrer. I heard this album and "Everything Zen" in comparison and there's not much difference in style. Bush are great hardrockers / grungerockers just from the beginning and they don't seem to get tired.
I remember songs from this dude when I was a kid like 10 years old my older brother was a huge fan, loads of albums. Still making great songs , love this one , absolutely killing it
The more I listen, the more I want.
So glad to have you back kicking ass and taking names - but if you've been a long time fan you know for a fact these guys have released a TON of music since the 90s. This song ROCKS so fucking hard, AHHHH! This video takes me way back to the 90s watching MTV all day just so I could watch whatever Bush content the MTV gods wanted to bless us with. I love it when Gavin ditches his guitar and embraces the amazing manic dancer that he is - he's got the cutest moves in the universe and I get so damn giddy every time he does shoulder shimmy or pelvic thrust - he was made to be a rockstar! Also, how much fun does he look like he is having here jamming out with his buds and doing his thing?! You can visibly see his excitement in the moments when the camera pans close to his face and he sticks his tongue out and he just lets you feel every bit of this song through his words and moves. Let's also take a moment to give the biggest shout out to Chris Traynor for delivering the guitar solo we didn't know we needed in 2020, it makes me weep - it rocks so hard! I know the lineup has changed but it still feels like 90s Bush to me
Most bands/artists can't pull off a comeback like this, truly extraordinary
Soulburn RS I agree. Almost 30 years on and Rossdale can still write some highly catchy and poignant rock tunes
Dude. This guitar player they got is so boss. I'm hearing more and more of him in this music.
I agree ✌️
I grew up with Bush hitting the radio waves, and was never really sold..... maybe I was lacking perspective back in 94'/95'. What resonates at the present moment now is..... that was freakn amazing!!! They definitely come across in 2020 with an awesome polished sound!!!I just became a fan!!!
This song is heaven to my ears & this video is heaven to my eyes. What a way to stimulate the ears & eyes. Senses overload in the best way.
I used to listen them when I was teenager and its impressive how good they are so far ..

This is easily the best Bush song I've heard since Science of things. It's good to see them making good music again.
Bout time Bush started rocking again. I'm so hoping this album has a Sixteen Stone vibe to it!
One of the few bands that kept up with the times and still have their original sound at the same time
after all these years his voice still brings me back to the 90s.....
i am glad this band is back in 2020 with a new album. nfs hot pursuit 2 introduced me to Bush.

[big smile] BUSH still kills ... saw them 3 times before the pandemic - awesome, awesome, awesome ...Gavin has literally never lost it -- he is an amazing artist and connects with the audience !
Pretty awesome when they did this live in Dallas he jumped off the stage and walked all the way to the back of the crowd they put on a great show
I’m so happy Bush came out with a new album. I loved them since the 90’s.
Remembering seeing this band in the south of the UK over 20 years ago in a small venue, the gig was epic and sounds like they are back to their best! :)

Another renegade
Stick around gettin' made
Gotta be plenty brave
To speak up
Blame it on the planets, man
Try to do what you can
Steady on the suicide
Everyone all the time
The mind is a playground
And what goes up
The sadness is the emptiness
We're shadows in the rain
She covered me in loneliness
Like flowers on a grave
Like flowers on a grave
Salt state of mind
It's like a Valentine
Rope around and make you mine
And I'm in a noose
The animals are on the move
Tell me what you're gonna do
I can see you comin' through
Everyone all the time
The mind is a playground
And what goes up
The sadness is the emptiness
We're shadows in the rain
She covered me in loneliness
Like flowers on a grave
Like flowers on a grave
like flowers on a grave
(Flowers, flowers, flowers, flowers, flowers)
Flowers
I feel you in me
Although you're gone completely
I'm still alive
I am all night
The sadness is the emptiness
We're shadows in the rain
She covered me in loneliness
Like flowers on a grave
Like flowers on a grave
like flowers on a grave
(Flowers, flowers, flowers, flowers, flowers)
Like flowers on a grave

This is incredible. I'm glad Bush still has it.
this is 1996 again and it is much needed.
80s were great but 90s had the best music and BUSH carries the torch stronger than ever. 🔥 📛
What a badass video - all in one shot! Great song, amazing video!
It wasn't done in one take. The flashes of light were used as edit points.

@@km-ultra Disregard the fanboys, let them shit their pants :) I never found any info about the process, but - yeah, besides the light flashes, I assume some cuts during the fast camera turns (and maybe some roto work as well). Just saw them Live 10-7-22 along with Breaking Benjamin and Alice In Chains.......this song was one of the best performances that night.
I was there too, completely agree!
lucky you
That was a great lineup for sure. I just saw them with Jerry Cantrell 9/14 in Phoenix.
Here's what Gavin told us about the video: "I wanted all these different characters in there. We've got the heathen nurse, the dancer, the weird wolf-girl and other strange characters. We're limited because we don't have big budgets anymore, so I would have loads more if I had a bigger budget."
This is first time I’ve seen my favorite go to site in the comments. Y’all are the best online music resource for anything music related. Whether a new song I just heard or an older one I’m interested in the backstory, the inspiration and meaning of music makes it that much better. Thanks for all y’all do, this was helpful.
“This tormented rocker finds Bush lead singer Gavin Rossdale covered in loneliness like flowers on a grave. "Every song is just a different mood of where I'm at and what I'm feeling," he said in a Songfacts interview. "I write about emotions, and we all experience similar emotions: fear, pain, loss, joy, hope. All those deep emotions are around us all the time, and they're all trading places consistently."
