I remember buying their first album on cassette back in the 90's and listening to it over and over again.Just turned 39 and Bush is still kicking ass! The more things change, the more they stay the same

@ no name it was one of the few tapes I wore out and had to buy another, then bought on CD when I finally got with the times and retired the cassette collection
I am 39. I used to stay up at night, when i had school in the morning, and record their songs from the radio onto a cassette. I've seen them live countless times. Forever and always my favorite band. Bush and Chevelle have helped me through a lifetime of sadness, loss AND happiness. I feel your words.

They are a bigger band that bush. Monster won a Grammy and got over 300 millions views on TH-cam.
And they are actually very much alike. They could tour together.

But my favorite is third eye blind followed by brand new. It's art there is no competition in art. The eye /ear dictates the feeling if this is his favorite then Noone else has any say on what his favorite is.

I love this song. It got me thinking about their 1994 album Sixteen Stone. 16 stone is equal to 224 pounds, and 224 is a kind of short hand for "today, tomorrow, forever", which then kinda fits with 1000 years. Not sure that's what they were going for but in my head it works.

This song truly puts you into a mood
I was working out when I heard this song, I literally felt a couple tears rolling in my face. This song brought me so many living memories about my parents. I lost both of them in a space of 3 years. Music doesn't heal you but makes your pain alot easier to handle.
