When using first time you will surely feel a bit difficult to press the handle but after daily use you will come to know how much pressure you have to apply..... And if you face such problem then invert the chopper bowl and shake a little so that the material stuck under the blade will come out,then it will become easier to press.

This is a demonstration only. Review can help with blade quality and effectiveness and if design is safe and relatively easy to clean. useless machine , if you are cutting in small chunks then why stop there just cut into thin slices , machine has shark blades which is dangerous plus the additional work of cleaning the machine with blades as residue onion stinks
Smart Learning, this machine is useful to those people (like me) who are unskilled to chop onion to micro pieces and are also afraid of cutting finger while chopping but if you expert in chopping onion to smaller pieces then you don't need this machine.

The chopper is necessary to avoid the possibility of cutting the finger while chopping the onion too finely.

I bought one which had useless switch.
I don't use that safety lock but sometimes when pushing rod stucks while chopping I use to release the rod by this lock button.
