- This classic Mercedes Benz 560SL is in the shop for a deep preservation detailing. Not a corner to nook was left untouched on this great Merecedes 560SL, sitting at a whopping 22k miles! We started with dry ice cleaning and washed the filthy car up nice before we dove in to a deep paint correction, softtop restoration, interior detailing, and chrome polish.

Incredible bespoke detail on a true 80s classic. My friend’s dad who was a broker at Merrill Lynch back in the 80s had one of these. Takes me back. I wish you could have shown the wash process

This shop in beyond anything out there. The term restoration detail really only applies to them. I wish I had a car worthy of this kind of meticulous care. People that have very nice cars they never plan to part with are their clients.

you guys knows how to spoiled the car, I learn a lot a loooot of things about cars if the owner doesn't spoiled his car and take care of it she will not live forever with him I learn that when I buy a used car some ppl dosen't clean it good and take care of it and that is bad and not just the look is important the inside is very important especially the engine if you work good you must start on engine.

What tools and product did u use when you restored the soft top ?
9000 miles they must have only driven to the beauty parlor to get their hair done.
🤣 apparently, I (Evan) was exaggeratedly a misinformed and the car has more like a whopping 23,000 miles on it. But I think that just means she went and got her hair and nails done.
Can someone explain how the dry icing method works? It does a fantastic job!
It works pretty well huh! Dry Ice cleaning works by blasting dry ice (frozen carbon dioxide) at supersonic speeds using compressed air. These particles sublimate on impact, which is the process of turning directly from solid to gas, and in doing so, lifts dirt and contaminants off the surface below.

All sorts of original stickers are available from MB dealerships. The one near the gear selector is not on par with this level of detailing and badly needs to be replaced :)

Hola! From México. If I may; want to suggest some marketing issues that you maybe, consider. On the beginning, it´s nice to see the face of the presenter; give a welcome and invite the viewer of what it´s about to see. Explain that your mode it´s abouy of unique (i mean that). In the middle show, explain a little of what you have achieved and for last... you can put a picture of your next job.
Hope this can be for help. I honor and respect your work. Thnk´s for charring.

Awesome job, but euro bumpers & headlights are worth the effort.....and lose the center mount brake light. And LS swap w/ 6 speed, modern transmissions alone are worth the effort.

If it was up to me, I'd ditch those hideous US headlamps and massive battle ram bumpers for the European ones. Strange that Mercedes-Benz didn't redesign the US headlamps when the 200mm rectangle headlamp capsules were legal in 1977 and when the composite headlamps were allowed in 1983. The US bumper standards were changed in 1982, but Mercedes-Benz continued with the US bumpers until 1989, its final production year. The only visual update was the recessed door handles, deeper front dam, smoother Bundt wheels, and third brake lamp for 1986 model year.
We always get shafted on the cool car stuff in America :/
What about mold? Some cars have been sitting for years and become infested with unhealthy mold. Especially outside of California.
