This was so pleasurable to wake up to on a cold rainy Sunday morning. This was amazing and good on you for restoring it so it can be enjoyed for years to come. I daily drive a w116 from 78, I kept the patina because I like that sort of thing but I refreshed the interior, some mechanical bits and bobs and treated all the rust. I love older cars
Great synopsis of all the hard work. Very helpful to any e34 owner regardless of engine and model year. I learned a lot for my e34 1990 535i one owner car. Thanks, love it! :)
Oooh, la, la, that looks stupendous! What a gorgeous machine, you certainly brought it back to being glorious, well done man, great work. Interesting how you resolved the faulty fuel gauge issue, mine is stuck atm. The interior leather, wood etc and exterior colour really make this car look rather special ....and it's a V8 too. I love my M50 e34 manual so I'm sure this baby V8 puts a smile on your face too. Perhaps you could film some road trips in it now? 👍😎
Thanks mon ami! It is a time capsule and its very special to drive especially now that its so clean… my biggest issue is parking space and vehicular ADD - too many projects and cars I wanna get my hands dirty with! Thanks for following along on the journey, its been inspirational
@@DeadEndRestorationsthank you so much for sharing your experience and taking time to restore this beautiful relic of the past. May I ask you what size dimensions are you using for the garage space for the garage ? I’m looking to do the same with my single car garage but to no avail have I found much luck from many different sources and hope that it’s not too much trouble to ask for some advice or suggestions. Thanks mate
@@That_fella_named_J thank you! Its about 9.5 feet by 25 feet long. I have one big toolbox at the end and a small work table/bench. Its very tight on the sides, thankfully e34 is super narrow but it is a bit long…
@@That_fella_named_J my other advice is get storage racks on the walls and get stuff off the floor as much as possible, if its in the air it wont get in the way 😉

This is the first video I've seen on your channel and you have a new subscriber. Thank you for actually restoring the car and not "restoring" it by putting coilovers and carbon this and exhaust that. You're awesome!
the e34 is my dream car since im 3yo, my dad used to own a M5 and i fell in love with it. I love seeing this video and i fr appreciate you restoring it. Very nice work man:)
What a restoration - beautiful car, amazing work. Can't wait to restore my 535i E34 1989 5 speed manual, it put a smile on my face whenever I drove it.
You did a very good job, the car came out beautiful, first time i see this silver color but the final condition of the car is amazing, you should be proud of yourself
Did you ever find a replacement edging for the door sill protectors? Mine started cracking from age. They are a flexible light colored material. The sill protectors are fine.
You are a true craftsman! My biggest respect. Wonderful to se someone saving one of the very last great german cars, when ”made in Germany” meant something.
would be cool to see some side by side before and after pictures. such a cool car, V8, 5 speed, hood hinges from the front. im most impressed by the rust repairs and exterior trim refinishing. interior too looks great. you got it looking like a time capsule.
Brother, you have done a very high quality work. I really enjoyed watching it. There is also a 1995 model Calypso Red Metallic 5.25i E34 in my garage. I love this car of mine, I enjoy it every time I use it. You now have many reasons to enjoy your car.
Thanks, that's such an accomplishment, well job done, love the talkless that sometimes watching films is more on nonsense talks rather than actions they make educating viewers, you're style quick and unique, and I like it. Congrats, and more power, and success in the future ahead.
Lovely work !!!! 😍🥰 but did You check the engine oil pump fastenings? Bolts tends to loosen, its very important to look at them. Greetings from Poland, great rebuild !!! 🤠😍🥰😎
Such a beautiful car! Amazing how you made that look so simple. Of course it wasn't, can't even fathom the time. But what an amazing car upon completion!
Mother of god, dude, this is ultra professional and probably a 15.000 dollars restoration. You deserve more viewers!!
Thank you! It did cost close to $15k to restore with me doing 99% of the labour 😂
@@DeadEndRestorations 😂 Well done dude I subscribe
для правильной реставрации еще надо бы гнилые места заменить, а не покрасить.
@@DeadEndRestorationsshocking.. epecially because it was more labor than parts
My new Ed China.
Streten would be proud
Actually its Sreten.
I’m not sure he’d be happy about the sunroof 😂 One of his pet peeves
In the video he had some sreten moves, like painting the seatbelt clips, so he probably watched his content.
I thought of Sreten too
