Interesting how you resolved the faulty fuel gauge issue, mine is stuck atm. The interior leather, wood etc and exterior colour really make this car look rather special ....and it's a V8 too. I love my M50 e34 manual so I'm sure this baby V8 puts a smile on your face too. Perhaps you could film some road trips in it now? 👍😎

@@That_fella_named_J thank you! Its about 9.5 feet by 25 feet long. I have one big toolbox at the end and a small work table/bench. Its very tight on the sides, thankfully e34 is super narrow but it is a bit long…

@@DeadEndRestorations its a 11/10, just as i would do it! A tip for the plastics/plastic dressing buy the Gyeon Preserve dashboard protectant or 303 Aerospace interior protectant. Really good for Old Mercedes and Bmw plastics.

I used to have an 1988 E34 535i SE auto in diamond black, I owned it from 1995 to 2003 and it never had any rust anywhere ! - One of the smoothest and most refined cars I ever had and very good top end acceleration for only a 3.4 straight six (3430cc) engine even though it said 3.5 on the ally intake manifold casting ! - Got an 1999 E39 540i 4.4 v8 engine (4398cc) after that, and it had rust on its rear jacking points which is so sad when the E34 I had was more than a decade older and totally rust free ! - Those earlier E34's were great cars - not too sure what happened after 1992 ?... could it be they went from oil based paint to water based paint ?? mmm.
would be cool to see some side by side before and after pictures. such a cool car, V8, 5 speed, hood hinges from the front. im most impressed by the rust repairs and exterior trim refinishing. interior too looks great. you got it looking like a time capsule.
It wasn't as bad as they come, but meticulous and time drenching work went into it, bravo, by the looks of it, you can proudly drive this and leave it in Munich museum
