That was a for sure enough compilation of a long time blindman build. I think everyone who watches this needs to go through your play list and see what all you did and the changes you had to redo and exactly why. It was awesome. Forget how this company usually did this, or did that, just built one from the ground up EXACTLY the way Dave wants to build it. Whatever his favorite type of wagon, favorite wheels, favorite seats, only the best of the best. Who else on Earth is there that could even consider such a thing?
He already has great content, but I would LOVE to see a wagon designed and built by Dave, from scratch.
There has to be one ☝🏻out there somewhere...👀
I like watching the individual episodes but the readers digest version is just fun to watch. A couple design thoughts or questions. 1. Why have a hinged gate if it doesn't close? 2. If the gate did close, wouldn't that removable seat be best situated in the back row?
That way, it could be removed for cargo or large trunks. If the third row was occupied, the gate could be dropped for luggage as designed?
One sees something new in the retelling, I haven’t noticed the big wheel hubs in the individual episodes they’re there tucked in the background.

Dave. Thank you for continuing to document what you do. Resist the urge to not show us something because you've already documented it multiple times before. There is a great need today simply to watch someone complete a task or project. It's therapeutic especially for those of us in corporate jobs where we rarely get to see the results of our efforts.

When I saw those first shots of the wagon, my first thought was that Dave should rebrand himself as the "Wagon Wizard"! How many people do you know who could perform such a radical transformation as this?

Your you tube channel is one of, if not the most well organized channels on TH-cam. If something catches my fancy, it is very simple to find more information on the subject and take a deep dive into it. You have organized it in much the same manner you accomplish your work in. You puzzle out what it should look like, and then use your vast skill sets to figure the best way for you to get it done, and then do it. Much appreciated out in TH-cam viewer land!

I really enjoyed this whole series and I'm glad you post these synoptic versions. They are a fun review of the process. In the first video of the series when you brought in the pallet with all the parts and bits I laughed so hard... I said "oh man Dave what have you done?!" I have to say... you sure turned that pile of parts into a incredible series of sleuthing out what this thing looked like and then bringing that to life. Thanks to you and Diane for making these videos happen. Looking forward to the conclusion!
That was a nice compilation for those who missed watching it grow. You are a Sherlock Holmes of wagon reconstruction. As always a marvelous job. I think it's amazing that from this pile of rubble you can recreate a wonderfully functional vehicle.

I have been watching long enough to know it was GOING to be a Mud Wagon when he got done, but that beauty existed only in the eye of the Artist that breathed life back into that wreck.

I was watching a.1940's western on TV and the coach was a mud wagon. I recognized it immediately from your build videos.

All my life, I've known that "C-clamps" are "Carriage-clamps" and that round-headed bolts with a square neck are "carriage bolts," but this makes the names mean something. Also, watching you fashion exact replicas of missing parts from bar stock: your range of skills is an inspiration.
This gentleman is a true master at his craft.so much knowledge to be shared.totaly enjoy watching your work.

But It doesn't show how much work and time was taken and all the thoughts and ponderings to get every individual item done and how many times each piece was adapted to get the end result. You amaze me! I can take something apart and put it back together in the same day… most of the time. If it goes longer than that… I really struggle to get it back together correctly. I think I would get lost on a project like you are doing.

Clever way to create the crescent dimple! And the use of packers as precise spacers. Ran across them and bought a package. As good as set up blocks and much less expensive. Fortunate you knew where the studs are - it looked like the tile tan all the way up. Hopefully the other side of the wall was exposed. I missed one bit: attaching the top to the supports. The one inside the triangle can be a challenge for clearance.
