My boy, to play devils advocate, sometimes as an airbnb host you dont get a booking till the last min, so its hard to offer a late checkout since that booking can come in last min. The best you can do as a host is what ur host did, promise a late checkout on condition that no booking comes through.

I'm heading to Nairobi in June and been trying to find information about where im allowed to smoke in Nairobi ( yes, I'm a smoker, horrible habit, I know ) are you allowed to smoke on the street , on hotel grounds or are there smoking zones

in downtown they have designated smoking areas. in westland I think you can smoke on the street, no problem. and in most apartments, you can smoke. but just use your balcony or rooftop
