    I've been using this board for three month now. I paid $259.00 at Micro Center paired with a 14700k and G. Skill 32GB 7200Mhz. I saved $250 by not getting the Z790 Aorus Master. The board has been great so far. 02/19/2024 2003

      @@MyJman37 hi welcome to my channel. At the very begining, this board was not so popular and everyone is sceptic about ASRock as compared to ASUS. however more and more good feedbacks, comments and recommendation of this board, therefore the price raises. My friend got this board when it was not popular, that's why the price is cheaper.

    I just want to leave a comment to say your video was the most comprehensive and instrumental teaching tool I found to learn and make my build with this MB. Give Credit where it's due , honestly the way u explain things makes it easier to figure out , example, is you explaining the functions of the pin , and what they do like the the thunderbolt and the debunk, thanks a lot for the knowledge u put out here and also ASRock , i will say have started getting my attention , the way they built this board , for someone who wants to build a pc and use for 15 plus years ,i like the tech they did implement here , especially the 4pin behind the Gen5 Ssd , which i think will be a good idea for those purchasing the Gen 5 ssd heatsinks that comes with fans , and more is the cooling of the board and components and more to that adding 3 temp sensor probes itself in the package , something other manufactures like asus will add just the pin out (1 to their board )and never even give u the sensor itself . nice content and look forward for more

    Mate, this would have to be the best motherboard review, I have been watching PC hardware reviews on TH-cam since people started posting, and building PCs for over 25 years. I have never seen anyone go into such detail. I just bought this board because my z690 Hero has issues, and was looking for a new board with a lower cost. I found this board, and looked at the specs, and thought why bother with ASUS or Gigabyte, when this has all the features. Jumped on TH-cam to see what people had to say, found this video lol.

      @@JayKoe-uv5ky Hi! I really love this ASRock Nova Motherboard! I have NO issues with it. It has all the features I wanted, and looks great too (with tasteful RGB lighting). I have previously used boards from Asus, Gigabyte and, most recently, EVGA. In fact, when I recently moved my custom, water-cooled PC to a new case, I switched out my EVGA board for this Nova board. To be honest, I never really needed the EVGA board, and lack of support going forward was a bummer. I have watch several of Kleo Yan's videos on different ASRock motherboards to gain a better understanding of the UEFI features (the features are very consistent). He does a really good job explaining everything, which is helpful since this is my first experience with ASRock. I have watched this particular video multiple times in order to dial in the BIOS. In fact, now that it is more familiar, I really like the ASRock UEFI - it's well thought out and easy to use. For example, I was easily able to set my radiator fan curves based on the coolant temperature using the T1 sensor header. I have my case fans set to ramp on the internal case temperatures using the T2 and T3 headers - easy! Currently, I have an I9-13900K sitting with restricted power limits (due to the recent instability reports, but not experienced by me personally). I also have the CPU undervolted by 100 mV (as recommended in the video). The rest of my base system features an AMD 7900XTX (water-cooled), and 64 GB of G-Skill memory (running with the standard XMP profile). It runs cool and rock-steady. I have not had a single crash, even under heavy benchmark runs and during game play. As mentioned, there are plenty of M.2 slots, which is great! No complaints - in my opinion, the Nova is a full-feature board at a great price point!

    Hi Broo,
    Cool Vid, actually I'm considering getting this motherboard.
    When I would insert an rtx 4090 for example would it take the space of both PCIe slots?
    And if I add an rtx 4090 I cannot use the 1-2-3 M2 SSD slots? Is that what you mentioned?
    Otherwise does the M2 SSD fit under those heatsinks in the slot or I have to remove them if I use the M2 slots?

    • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Janos Antal, welcome to my channel. You won’t cover the second PCIe slot if you place a RTX 4090. As for m.2. I mentioned that if you plug the very first slot with a GEN 5 m.2. Your GPU that is plug to the 1st PCI-e slot will not run at x16 speed. Instead it will run at x8. And if you have only GEN 4 m.2, you are advisable to plug them at slot 2 to 6. You will not have any issues to plug m.2 without any heatsink to all the slots. The amour shield will seat nicely.

      Hi David RegaL, welcome back. If it's based on the actual structure and measurements of the Lancool III case which I have reviewed a year ago. I have mentioned on my Lancool III content, the height clearance is at 45mm (motherboard rear I/O + motherboard standoff height). This Nova board rear I/O is at 45mm, and if you mount it, it will exceed. I strongly do not suggest this. 2) Western Digital SN850 or SN770 for storage
      Curcial P5 for OS boot, application and storage. In general these are cheaper and does it's job.
      if you going for SSD, I will just stick to Curcial MX500 or BX500
      PSU I will grab 1000watts 80plus Gold or 80Plus Platinium and with PCI-E 5.0 ATX 3.0 ready. Also their cables are mostly flat which is easy for cable management. I wouldn't go for sleeve cables.

      Hi Wanedge, welcome to my channel. Yup, that is one thing which I also feel that ASRock should change it to magnetic base antenna.

      @@robinhood9531 hi you are most welcome. It greatly depends on what you do with your pc and do you overclock or undervolt?
