I’m glad she is thriving and flourishing since that show. The racism and discrimination she faced from that community was so awful. Happy to hear she’s doing well
A lot of the mixed Asian models in Korean media are more attached with their Korean side and dont know much about their (mostly nigerian) black side. So, seeing Winnie be so knowledgeable about her Congolese side is so heartwarming to see ❤️
Adeolaaa we missed you so much, also missed my girl Zhomg Feifei I was keeping up with her on her social media but is great that someone actually made a video about her. Glad to see her shining inside and out😁🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Omg she looks like she could be my twin....only difference is im half Korean and my Dad is Black american and os mostly of a descendant of nigerian tribes mainly of igbo ibibio yoruba ancestry.
Love this discovery 🎉🎉 thank you for the great work. Imagine being in a huge competition where your skin colour is not the main talk of the competition or competitor but your weight. The obsession can give them a disorder for life. I wonder where that is coming from. Have you done one with Fatou from Blackswan? Especially now that there are other global groups, it seems people forget who started it. I remember you did one on Alex from Rania. Happy New Year
The obsession with toothpick women came from the international fashion industry - I saw it close-up when I lived in Paris. Despite China now being at the top of the world as to technological, cultural & social growth, both Korean & Chinese pop series aimed at adolescents perpetuate this dangerously unhealthy body standard.
My, China's dealing in Africa has a happy silver lining in this rare case...so far. Would love to see the movie version. Good luck, Fei Fei. Great English. Fantastic you're getting in touch with your African roots.
The food segment of this video shows how ugly is the inside of these types of TV challenge shows. The things done should be illegal. Don't EVER bring this psychotic anti-food approach to America.
I mean they did in a way , back in the 1920’s-2000’s . Unfortunately women’s body weight has been regulated through different decades, centuries even. Either women way back when had to be a certain plump size shamming naturally small women to the 29th century forcing women to be toothpick thin shaming thicker women. Heck at 1 point I was even below my ideal body weight, back in the early 2000’s, because the was the aesthetic.
Yeah, it's true for all those asin idols, not just having to be underweight but also to be very white. The shows are a complete set up, if they wanted to keep her in the show for entertainment the votes wouldn't matter and I'm sure the managers and companies behind these girls would be working to get heir girls through the selections in whatever back way they could. Meanwhile no one looks out for the girls and boys doing the actual work and in fact they are probably in debt with their company not making money.
It’s never too late to take your power back 🖤

Everything looks good on her. Gorgeous
No way she was the first ever? It took China that long?
Longest time 🎉🎉
Elle est congolaise 🇨🇩💞💞💞
This business of starving women is really appalling. It seems to go on all over the world.
That starvation shit on the reality show that the show's production team and hosts tried to play off as cute was seriously upsetting.
300th like So cool.
Adeolaaaaaa

15:40 this is really sweet how she actually seemed therapy and wanted her costars to succeed.
