    It’s interesting and weird how the producer sexualises the story - the school uniform, the headline about the girl taking her pants off. I guess it helps with the clicks eh

    Our family fled Germany when Hitler began to take power. I feel a kinship. No family should have to face those conditions. I met people in GTMO (American naval base in Cuba) who had fought through the mines and snipers to safety. with some losses....the elderly the children who ere too big to carry but too small to run properly. My heart goes out to you.💔💔💔💔🫂🫂❤❤ Leave the pants and RUN. Thank you SO MUCH FOR POSTING!🥹

      Lucky for your family that you could. I know several heartbreaking stories of Families who could not.
      Parts of my family did escape dictatorship and some did not. Actually many did not. The violence and the spreading of hatred that took place before was quite unimaginable for todays people in the western world.
      Thank God people like this young lady speak up on what they have lived through. In socialist regimes, human beings are considered cattle or material. Nothing more.

      My family & I also had to escape Indonesia in 1999 because of the fear of female family members being raped due to being double minority, because at some point people started to take advantage of the government chaos started in 98 and turned it into racial unrest/riots in other islands around Indonesia. And many people still deny/don't know that riots targeting certain race and religion around the country did happen😢

    Even hearing her story from her own mouth, I cannot begin to understand how terrifying it must have been and how it didn't break her. I feel sorry for the people of NK who do not have the means to escape that child-man megalomaniac. They could take him out if they knew how weak and outnumbered he really is. 18:32 I love her for saying it. So brave.

      I think it could have given her some kinda lingering trauma at least. My family & I also had to escape Indonesia in 1999 because of the fear of female family members being raped due to being double minority, because at some point people started to take advantage of the government chaos started in 98 and turned it into racial unrest/riots in other islands around Indonesia.
      I was a tween, it didn't break me. But it sure has left some trauma like I'd get antsy whenever I heard certain noises like street parade or motorcade closing in from a distance. And like for many years i really don't like to be near demonstrations, fear of being in a spotlight/known😅or when i heard the news mentioning certain things i get this crazy flight response etc. And many people still deny/don't know that riots targeting certain race and religion around the country did happen😢

    The part where she mentions if you don't know the broker well enough, you could be scammed into being sold to a lonely middle aged man in China as a wife is scary. They literally could kill you, torture you with the only positive outcome being married to a man you don't want to be married with and him treating you normally (Which is not much in China). But just the negatives are overwhelming. Imagine being a parent and you pay a broker to get your daughter out for freedom, sacrificing your family line and for her to end up as a sex slave and getting pregnant from a random old man. I know men in China treat their women like actual objects but imagine an actual slave. I can't even imagine the horrors they have to go through

      its worse than in other parts of the world, way worse than in europe, and around 25% worse than in the usa, but china is not what you describe it for anymore, your picture would fit 1980 china. those that buy those trafficked nk women are exactly like you described men in general in china, but you fail to realize that they need to buy a wife because of obvious behavioural challenges to get one normally.

    There's a section in here which offers a glimmer of hope. It's where she says two things. First, that people talk more frankly when no one else is around. Second, what she says at 18:33 That tells me that truly people aren't really brainwashed there. They know that things are fucked up, just moreso they can't say anything about it. But they aren't all zombies there that are brainwashed; they all really hate the guy.

      What's sad is the democrats in America are trying to make the US a communist country. If people vote for Kamala Harris, we can see America turn into a communist country. Remember democrats love war it makes them money, while Republicans don't want any war n feel the government shouldn't have as much power as they do over its citizens, so if u want America to be a communist country then vote Democrat. If u want America to stay free vote Republican.

    i personally think she would like other people to understand what she've gone through and what pushed her into making such daring and dangerous decision to escape NK is the main point for her to share her stories and not for others to praise her for being "brave" or "strong" because she is more to no choice in reality. i think these kind of shallow praises are an understatement compared to her hardship and what she've experienced so far. i think just respect her if you can't empathize with her is way better and REAL than those fake understanding and shallow praises.
    ps: as a form of respect please do not refer her a north korean, you're being cruel to someone who risk dying to escape that place, she is just a korean.

North Korea says they’re a socialist state, but they rig everything, and instead of everyone sharing equally, things there are distributed based on your closeness and importance to the dictator. They aren’t fleeing to countries because of their capitalism, they’re fleeing there to be free from tyrannical rule. But I feel like you probably already know that and just wanna rage bait..

If Kamala Harris wins, we are screwed n run A huge risk of becoming A communist country. Democrats want everyone to get paid the same no matter how much harder ur job is. That's crazy n dangerous. Maybe there is some translation error or something else I'm not following but as presented by the video there is a massive geographical error. Changchun is a very big city in Jilin province which is in fact north of Shenyang in Liaoning province. Both provinces border North Korea. Thus Changchun is nowhere remotely close to Laos (at least 2000 miles away)

    Your parents and family are so brave to decide to leave. Praying for North Korea to be a free country someday. However, so long as they are being supported by China, that's gonna be a tough dream to happen. China is their biggest partner when it comes to money laundering and nuclear developments. It also relies to the hands of local North Koreans on how they will have drastic change to be free from their authoritarian socialist country

    Yeah, very nice, but unfortunately I didn't hear the most important part - the sum they paid the broker. Lowest tarif was something around 5000 USD. But that didn't include broker risking life and leading you through the border. Usually it was up to you to cross the border and broker would meet you in China. So it means her father had to pay additional 10-15K USD for this service. Lady, where did he get these money if average salary in NK is 0.15 USD as you said? Ok, smuggling is profitable, but if people get 0.15 USD how can they afford to buy smuggled goods? I'm confused. Also you tell us you contacted Korean embassy in China. That is not normal. Usual scheme involves broker moving you illegally to Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia where you contact Korean embassy. Why? Cause Korean embassy in China itself is afraid of pissing Chinese and helps NK defectees only in two cases: 1) they are very important people with good connections in party or military elite and thus can be useful for SK intelligence, 2) they are able to pay huge amount of money. So its additional 15-20K USD. Lady, now I'm even more confused... who are you? Is your father some kind of second secretary of province?

    • @genchebanu
      @genchebanu หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hensonchin9090 clearly that's not enough. Besides, who would buy a house in a country with average salary of 0.15 USD? The sums we are talking about a very big for NK. Either her father was extremely well placed politically or had very soild business (which again means good connections with security and party apparatus). In any case if daughter of such man would never be chosen for 'pleasure squad'. And if she would because of some mistake he would simply pay a bribe. That's something else here

    • @hensonchin9090
      @hensonchin9090 หลายเดือนก่อน

    • @genchebanu
      @genchebanu หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hensonchin9090 the whole story is based on almost spontaneous idea to run after child was chosen for 'pleasure squad'. And to be clear: I'm happy they ran away. NK is totalitarian dictatorship. But unfortunately as many escapees girl is now involved in what I call 'industry of horrors'. Instead of telling simple story how she grew in rich family of some NK businessman who decided that his children need better life and education than what NK can give them, so he paid large sum to broker who arranged easy escape through the border (experts believe these brokers have ties with NK officials, bribing them so that security personnel will simply close their eyes), we are listening to a heroic adventure fairy-tale. But it's not a heroic act to cross NK border, it's just a business operation. You have enough money? You can leave. You don't have money? Well, bad for you. I think because of her father's money they had access to SK TV and music, so they knew how life in SK is better. So they saved enough money on some shadow operations which involved NK party officials (and you can't make business in NK without support from corrupt officials), sold their business and simply left. Good for them
