ÞJÓÐHÁTÍÐ Festival 2019 - Westman Island - Brekkusöngur

Iceland´s biggest holiday is on the first weekend of august. Nearly 50% of the population travel to the countryside to go camping and attend festivals.
The largest of them all is ÞJÓÐHÁTÍÐ at the Westman Islands dating back to 1874. On the last day on sunday is Brekkusöngur, an icelandic tradition where all come together and sing their favourite songs together.
I was finally able to join in with 15.000 other and the result you see in the video.
