Sorry to be a kill joy. Ive looked into boxing and all i find is that its not allowed and you can be perma band. is this accurate or ? its something id love to do but seems like im torn as i dont want to lose over 15 years of gaming on my account
Well in the past I would have said that ISBoxer is cool because it doesn't automate - however, the new Origins server may be banning people for broadcasting - there are conflicting reports in discord and on forums - Daybreak's official line is "no 3rd party software' - so if you want to be safe - I'd stay away from this at least on Origins/Anashti-Sul and be aware of the risks on live.
And thanks - pinning this because this vid is getting a lot of hits with the server out - people should know the risk and I for one am not using ISBoxer on Anashti-Sul.
@@zorgonox8479 it’s good that your given an honest opinion on the matter as like me id love to do it but it’s a personal choice if it’s worth the account risk. Ofc some people will definitely love this video and go for it 👍

Considering setting this up today, not played Eq2 in long time, would like to level 2 toons at same time though!
i dont get it. how do i open up a second EQ2 client what will allow me to use the CTRL ALT SHIFT G command to do all this? everytime i try to load my profile in inner space it only opens 1 game and then keeps saying its reloaded instead of opening another client

Haha I’ve been playing since 2007 and had no idea how people 2 box. But I also heal with no overlay or mods. Just EQ2 map! Would this be useful for me to solo on the new TLE pvp as healer?
Hmmm...I didn't try it on the tle - I think it may be difficult with the pvp.
Hi, i know it's been a while but ive followed the instruction. The problem is when it loads up it ask me for login details. I tried to log in using my eq2 details and it ask me for character name and server. I'm playing on the new origins server but it wont let me log in with the details ive put in.
Are you sure you have ISBoxer configured for the origins version of the game? It may be trying to load a live install instead of your origins install - that's my only idea - this may be a isboxer discord question unfortunately - I havent loaded it up on origins - so there may be quirks I haven't run into.

I use a programmable mouse and have number 1 set to all my damage. If I set the healer up with number 1 for all damage/heals will it work not actually clicking the number 1, but having the mouse programmed to toggle number 1 every .25 secs?
I believe you can do that in ISBoxer but it is beyond my skill level. I think you can do that through keymaps or variable keystrokes; you essentially will create the 'steps' (press x button, release x button, pause .25, press x button...) then assign that to the 1 key on your mouse. isboxer.com/wiki/Key_Map#:~:text=A%20Key%20Map%20is%20a,As%20of%20ISBoxer%2038.2.
Thank you, I always wanted to box, but did it wrong. I had two instances of EQ2 going and kept switching screens and put my other toon on auto follow.

I followed your guide and clicked the button to show the action bar overlay but when I load the game it doesn't show up -- I see one white square behind my keymaps on/off toggle in the top left corner but that's it. any suggestions? i changed my button size to 41x41 like you suggested as well.
Beneath the checkbox for basic broadcasting 1 through =, and beneath the row with 3 checkboxes for alt, ctrl and shift, there is a checkbox for Enable Action Bar - I often miss it when I'm creating a new layout. Create a new layout and see if that is the issue; if not, I'd go to IS boxer's discord and see if folks there can help you troubleshoot.
any idea after adding 2x12 for rows not only does it not go through, it won't even trigger my own. as if nothing's there. I clicked the repeater pass thru etc. was fine with 1x12 now it's not working. ok so 1x12 row works but how to i make a second row trigger second row skills? can't find any explanation anywhere. I just want more windows for other bars but I can't figure it out, only the first 1-12 works.
Generally, from the wizard, I click a few boxes to enable overlays for 1-=, alt 1 - =, shift 1 - = and ctrl 1 - =. That gives me 4 individual bars. I then map each of those 1 - =, alt 1 - =, etc. in game to my open hotbars. Then I drag the appropriate bar to where it belongs. You can also choose to have those broadcast without the overlay, so if you just want to use hotkeys you can.....I hope I understood your issue, and I hope my answer makes sense.
@@zorgonox8479 it makes sense but I tried this and still wouldn't work. but maybe I didn't map correctly? that might be where I'm lacking knowledge. I did that, put the overlay on, still wouldn't click through. how to I make it broadcast w/o the overlay?
@@zorgonox8479 oh hey now there's this weird graphic on the overlay that has 3 humanoid figures like on a bathroom door sign and a red line connecting them. what is that? wasn't there before. any idea how to remove it?
@@zorgonox8479 yeah and I'm still not seeing it. Did a keymap, looked at another video, still nothing. It's an alt bar. I click and/or hold alt and nothing happens

I do appreciate this video, but I did not really understand the part where the hot keys for ingame and what is on the ISboxer app. you did not really explain it and you already had it made your self. When i try to set it up the ingame hotkeys for the EQ2 are not already there, they are blank. So i am unsure how to follow this guide.
Hmm. I may not understand your question; the default hot key to bring up the ISboxer menu in game is ctrl-shift-alt-g. So you shouldn't have to change anything for that to work. If you follow the link in the description, the video from ISboxer may address your question better - but not sure, he's more technical than I am. Can you tell me a time stamp from the video? Perhaps I that would help me answer your question.
@@zorgonox8479 It was at the 6:22 mark, your ingame key binding are already filled out, but mine has them blank. The ones on the right side.
@@AaronGA1983 Okay try 18:52, I go over how I set up my socials. It's basically /tar *warrior name*, /ass *warrior name* and /fol *warrior name. That allows me to have them target, assist and follow without switching between windows. I hope that's what you are looking for, but feel free to ask if I'm still missing it.

@@AaronGA1983 You are too kind. My response was for the wrong video - for what you are asking, I don't even use the key bindings - I may have set that up initially when watching one of IS boxer's videos, so you might find it there. However, with this setup, it shouldn't matter too much what those are. You can have your follow button and attack button from the abilities menu in EQ2 on the hotbar you set up to be click through. Because your fury will be targeting you, it will always assist you. Should work just fine without the game key bindings set up.
