The nice thing about the X Men is there are so many of them the writers can just "do the thing" every time and move onto a new story. With only a few characters theres always a tendency to drag things out. This episode alone we had a funeral, a coming out to parents motif, political stuff with the US president, an old villain killed x2, a new villain introduced, surprise! Magnetos not dead and a whole lot of other stuff and still there was still time for Rogue to be petty AF with Captain Americas shield.
Rogue saw Nimrod when she absorbed that guy's memories. Nimrod is a Sentinel from Bishop's time. Nimrod is shown in the opening credits fighting Bishop Storm and Wolverine.
It's not that the sentinels took human form in Trask; it's that Trask was "upgraded" by Bastion to become a "Prime Sentinel". It's basically Bastion's thing: turning people into sleeper sentinels that can be activated upon death.
HOW DID THEY FIND HER, everyone asks! The X Jet has a Mutant DNA scanner, maybe that's how? Maybe Kurt has some kind of link with Rogue, since they are kinda family.
This episode very much sets up the Final *Three Episode* Story Arc starting from *May 1st* and ending on *May 15th* so cannot wait to see how everything connections together in the end. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing Captain America and Ross again, the whole greater Marvel Universe with no doubt play into the final edits as this effects everyone.
I wonder if this is one of the universes where Steve’s shield is the same adamantium/vibranium alloy like in the comics. In the comics the High Evolutionary user his powers to make the smelting process work to create the alloy.
Many forget that Rogue started out as a villain and this journey you see a shadow of how she was as a villain, so the question is is she falling back to what she was before?
"Who she taken out exactly ?" You mean to be so powerful ? It was Miss Marvel, the previous incarnation of Captain Marvel, who we of course never had in the MCU. But she got her powers even permanent, thats why she is super strong and can fly. Miss Marvel was in coma after that for long time. I still wonder who this Geiric (how is he even written?) guy is. Its somehow as if i heared this name the first time ever today, or do i have to re-watch the last episode of the X-Men 90s show for that ? 🤔 Else, i didn't saw Magneto as death because the last time we saw him was just inside some kind of metallic cube or whatever, and i thought he maybe just closed that cube all around him and so the Sentinal just didn't "saw" him anymore. And for the funeral, they also didn't found a corpse of him for now obvious reasons, so they mostly also weren't sure about his death. Also .. no clue who the "new big bad" guy at the end actually is. Maybe Geirics twin ? 🤔😂
Loll French is my first language, it's always hilarious to me when I see someone writing the word as rouge lol. I guess it must be a tiny dyslexic brain bug people have, I see it everywhere loll
Regarding your question about would they let Gyrich go if the professor came back. If professor X was found to be alive henry Gyrich would still be charged with attempted murder. Although it does not matter now that Henry Gyrich is dead.

I knew Emma frost would've survive and in the comics after she survived the attack she joins the X men and gets with Cyclops.
The old show was for kids.
This new show is for the same kids now adults.
This show is awesomely brilliant.
The guy at the end and main villain of x-men 97 is bastion a guy who is half human half sentinel 100% psycho and very dangerous villain

14:37 BEST big brother.
I love your content. You remind me so much of my mom, she passed away this year January.

poor Captain Marvel she's still in the hospital bed in a coma
Looking good Anna. I love the hair and outfit, and of course the signature fingerless gloves.

It’s spelt Gyrich, and the new villain is known as Bastion. That’s not really a spoiler or anything, he’s a character from the comics
You might want to fix your title.....I don't think in the episode Rogue turned into the French word for 'red' 😆😆😁😁😉

1:50 guy-rick is the common pronunciation.
We get general ross.from the hulk...and captain America.. and tony stark building.....
3 cameos.
First awesome reaction
Why'd Rogue have to toss Steve's shield like that☹️
She has grief, pain and loss of Gambit.
