I got rid of ALL my props excepting those I set aside for a terrarium I'm building this month and one meant for a swap. Was cheering about all the space I had and everything! 5 days later... they were baaaack (up to 7 props now). Be resolute- this IS about reclaiming the cups.
I believe the glass at 39:00 may be just stained from hard water. You motivated me to clean my propagation cups and I got rid of my hard water sediment with just a bit of citric acid and hot water. You're one of the most reliable youtubers I've seen, so I really can't wait for next update 🍀
This was a really funny video, and super relatable! Only reason I still have cups is bc my husband wouldn't like it if they all dissappear into the plant room, so I go by the goodwill anytime I have like 10 or 20 bucks and get pretty glass jars and vases for props, the only issue is now I have so many and no where to put them lol, I need shelves!! Subscribing 😂

combined all of your propagation into one jar... all the plants releases chemicals that promote roots.

I keep reptiles so whenever I have a cutting I just plant it in the reptile enclosures. Win win. lol

I bought a whole bag of empty glass yogurt cups for $4 at thrift store. Now I pretty much use those only for my water props. Works great!

Once you tried it once, you can’t stop it. Been in indoor plants for almost a decade, never seen alocasia propagation 😮

Every time I do propagation. I always use an empty glass jars, I saved, like pickle jar. Just wash them out.
Wait you can propagate alocacia by cutting? This is huge news to me
Put some activated carbon in the glass when you propagate. It prevents algae from growing. I find mine wherever the fish aquarium supplies are.
