Hi everyone. If you aren’t subscribed yet but enjoy the videos, please consider hitting that subscribe button. I’ve had a lot of problems recently with people making fake accounts pretending to be me and scamming people. I need to hit 100K as soon as possible so that I can get verified and my viewers won’t fall for scams anymore. If you do hit that subscribe button, I really appreciate it and it doesn’t go unnoticed!

This is the problem with youtube and other social sites, there are people out there always looking to screw others over ...there needs to be better security... I have other reactor channels I like to view were I have been "sent messages by the supposed creator". I always used Xtreme language when dealing with them...the algorithm really likes that.. to be honest I haven't seen it for over 2 months now. No authentic creator would do such things . And no honest subscriber would create a fake account.

This song is special to me because one day, my dad and my youngest son had gone to the store. They pulled into the driveway and sat there blaring this song as they sang it at the top of their lungs, in pure joy. My youngest was about 8 at the time. Both he and his grampa are gone now, each from different forms of cancer, only a few years apart. So every time I hear this, I can see them sitting there singing happily - " More more more!"

Well GenXers, we did it! He said he's "sick of rap"! Now he understands why a good portion of us can't stand it either. We grew up with the music he has STARTED to listen to in the last year. We take for granted how spoiled we were growing up in the 70's & 80's. Hip hop & rap really started to take off in the 90s and we, as a generation said "nope" and found the nearest "classic" rock station and pegged our radios to it. "Bruv", keep up your expanding horizons of music, there is still so much more out there. Well done!

Most of the boomers I knew were listening to 50s music (Do Wop, Elvis, etc.) I personally am not claiming ownership of the creation of the music, just the appreciation of it and the dollars WE spent buying it. So to quote young people "OK, Boomer". You are acting like GenZ. Don't read so much into it.

I am 63 and was 22 when this came out -- when I first saw and heard Billy. He blew my mind. He was part of the 'second British wave" in America -- New Wave. Listen real close to his voice when he sings actual lyrics -- he has a great voice. And I do not believe anyone else can growl like him. At 63 I am still a die hard Idol fan and I still bang my head to his music. He gets this old girl's blood pumping every time. I raised my son on New Wave, hard rock and Punk. It is something we share together.

Obscure fun fact. During the club scene in the early 90's... the crowd would yell in between verses of Billy Idols song Mony Mony. The lyrics went... Here she comes now saying Mony Mony. And then the crowd would yell "hey everybody get laid, get fucked" for some reason. They did it between every verse and I'm not sure why. It was bizarre and a bit immature but funny too. I can't help think of that everytime I hear Billy Idol.

When we were someplace where we had to clean it up a bit, we’d change it to,”Hey! Hey what?! She’s fat, I’m drunk!” During the chorus we would also chant,”f’ing bullsh*t” during all the “so goods”. Yes, it was childish, but that was the 80s! It was a blast!

The Rebel Yell originated in the American Civil War. When confederate troops were ordered to attack, they would scream at the top of their lungs. It had to be terrifying in battle to hear advancing troops, sometime 50 thousand of them, screaming and running toward Union lines. There is also a rather nice bourbon whiskey by that name

I love looking at your face and watching your expressions! But I have to tell you even though this is not my generation the '80s that is, I'm a millennial technically, but I love '80s classic rock and pop..it is the best surpassing even the 60s and the '70s. Thank you for doing this! Billy Idol was fantastic! ❤️🤟
